The veteran CNN anchor Jim Clancy has left the network after a series of Twitter messages he wrote about the terrorist attack on the French satirical newspaper Charlie Hebdo that left 12 people dead.

In the tweets, which were sent on the day of the attack, Mr. Clancy wrote about the cartoons the paper had published depicting the Prophet Muhammad, but he then began criticizing supporters of Israel and sparring with other Twitter users. Mr. Clancy’s Twitter account has since been deleted, but the tweets were published on several websites, including Gawker, Twitchy and Mediaite.

CNN confirmed on Saturday that Mr. Clancy had left the network but declined to comment on whether his departure was related to the Twitter messages. Mr. Clancy declined to comment.

On Jan. 7, Mr. Clancy posted a message about cartoons Charlie Hebdo published before the massacre at its Paris office. “The cartoons NEVER mocked the Prophet,” he said. “They mocked how the COWARDS tried to distort his word.” The message was retweeted more than 600 times.

Some called Mr. Clancy’s statement untrue. One was Oren Kessler, a research director at the Foundation for Defense of Democracies, which studies international terrorism. He responded with a tweet that said, “The magazine was targeted in the past over an issue in which Muhammad was listed as guest editor.”

Mr. Clancy then posted a series of tweets including one that said, “These accounts are part of a campaign to do PR for #Israel @JewsMakingNews @elderofziyon Nothing illegal - but PR not HR: Human Rights.”

Mr. Clancy, who anchored the global news show “The Brief,” had worked at CNN for more than 30 years, covering the fall of the Berlin Wall, the Rwandan genocide and the Iraq wars, according to a biography that has since has been deleted from CNN’s website.

"Oren Kessler" - sounds... Swedish?
Yes, indeed, 'oren', means unclean or filthy, 'kassler' is a smoked pork product, which is usually heated up in ovens before eating...

By. Dr. Patrick Slattery – Yesterday CNN fired one of its star reporters after he got into a tweeting argument with Jewish activists (http://www.jta.org/2015/01/16/news-opinion/united-states/cnns-jim-clancy-resigns-after-controversial-israel-tweets), including Oren Kessler of the Foundation for Defense of Democracies (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Foundation_for_Defense_of_Democracies). The FDD is a neocon propaganda organization lavishly funded by billionaire Jewish Zionists like Roland Arnall, (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Roland_Arnall) Charles Bronfman (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Charles_Bronfman), and Michael Steinhardt (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Michael_Steinhardt). Jim Clancy’s CNN biography page was promptly deleted, but to see how little loyalty from CNN 34 years of hard work will get you, please refer to this archived snapshot of his page (http://web.archive.org/web/20141024094843/http://edition.cnn.com/CNN/anchors_reporters/clancy.jim.html).

For those of you interested in the tweets involved, the website israellycool.com (http://www.israellycool.com/2015/01/08/this-is-cnn-jim-clancy-goes-on-anti-israel-rant/) (which I guess means “Israel is really cool”) has preserved the comments, with some annotation and perhaps selective editing. It is hard to see what the big deal is. It starts with Clancy making the questionable claim that Charlie Hebdo’s cartoons weren’t actually mocking Mohammed but rather those who distort his words. A rather mild bruhaha ensues, which includes Clancy correctly pointing out that his opponents were hasbara (Israeli public relations) agents.

I don’t really know what passes for etiquette on Twitter, but Clancy never said anything really that insulting. He did suggest that “You and the Hasbara team need to pick on some cripple on the edge of the herd.” That predictably prompted a Jewish organization that promotes inclusion of people with disabilities throughout the Jewish community (http://www.rudermanfoundation.org/programs/inclusion) to protest the use of the word “cripple” to CNN President Jeff Zucker (a fellow Zionist), who promptly fired Clancy.

One might ask whether Clancy was on one of his trips to North Korea when CNN fired Rick Sanchez simply for saying that there were a lot of people at CNN a lot like Jon Stewart (i.e. Jewish). Or perhaps he thought that his 34 years of service to CNN was enough to give him some modicum of job security.

At any rate, it seems pretty obvious that this whole Twitter spat was intended to give CNN a pretext for firing Clancy, who came into the Zionist’s cross hairs due to his deviation from the Israeli propaganda line, as you can see in the reaction that this Zionist website gave to an interview that Clancy conducted with a former Israeli ambassador. Last link in that Slattery (DDuke.com) article above... "TruthRevolt", good name for a neocon joo (Ben Shapiro) news site! You need to go to http://www.truthrevolt.org/news/cnns-jim-clancys-jaw-droppingly-awful-interview-about-palestinian-unification-deal to see the video at top, 8 mins; also joo reader comments. :)

CNN's Jim Clancy's 'Jaw-Droppingly Awful' Interview About Palestinian Unification Deal (http://www.truthrevolt.org/news/cnns-jim-clancys-jaw-droppingly-awful-interview-about-palestinian-unification-deal) "Did he [Prime Minister Netanyahu] personally order that strike on Gaza as they were in the midst of celebrating this deal?"
4.25.2014

On Friday, CNN Reporter Jim Clancy conducted an eight-minute interview with Palestinian spokesperson Hanan Ashrawi and former Israeli Ambassador Dore Gold that was unique in its level of bias and lack of professionalism of the interviewer.

Clancy allowed Ashrawi to regurgitate the Palestinian talking points about the Fatah/Hamas reconciliation deal for the first four minutes of the interview and trash Israel in the last minute and in-between accusingly asked Gold if an Israeli attack on terrorists in Gaza was done to try and scuttle the reconciliation deal (and ignored his answer).

The interview began with Clancy asking Ashrawi to describe the deal. He helped her out by asking her to explain how the deal didn't really create a unified government, just a mixing of technocrats expecting the audience to believe that the Hamas leaders will have no say. Not once did Clancy ask a probing question about Hamas terrorism, or its statement made earlier that day (http://www.truthrevolt.org/news/hamas-announces-it-will-never-recognize-israel) doubling down on its commitment to violence and the destruction of Israel.

When he turned to Ambassador Gold, his first question was, "Did he [Prime Minister Netanyahu] personally order that strike on Gaza as they were in the midst of celebrating this deal?" making the implication that the strike was done to break up the celebration. Gold responded that Israeli military actions in Gaza had no link to the deal or its celebration. Cutting off Gold in the middle of his answer, Clancy asked about the civilian casualties. Finally the former Ambassador was able to return to the Hamas/Fatah deal and Hamas' long record of terrorism.

Clancy wasn't done; echoing Ms. Ashrawi he said, "Are you sure you are interpreting it the correct way, because the way I'm seeing it, it's leading to fresh blood in the political system running the government making way to elections." Again Clancy ignored that the "fresh blood" comes from an organization recognized by the U.S. and Europe as a terrorist entity, and that they just promised to maintain their terrorist ways.

Finally when Gold said talks could continue if Hamas recognized Israel and renounced violence, Clancy went back to the Palestinian spokesperson and asked if the peace process was dead with this deal, Ashrawi's answer was a minute-long uninterrupted rant about the evils of Israel.

As Ed Morrissey commented in his Hot Air post (http://hotair.com/archives/2014/04/25/cnn-wonders-did-israel-strike-gaza-because-they-celebrated-the-reconciliation-agreement/) about this interview:

Israel’s policies in the West Bank and Gaza are certainly not above scrutiny or criticism. However, one would expect a news organization to approach this fairly and hold all sides to the same scrutiny or at least to acknowledge the attacks from both sides. Clancy’s performance here is simply jaw-droppingly awful.
