Wall Street's biggest banks have slashed nearly 50,000 jobs and bonuses
Include Bank of America, Citigroup, JPMorgan and even Goldman Sachs
Cuts, announced last week, come as profits opportunities have dried up

Dont worry they all probably have death insurance payable to the banks so in this case you get sacked first , dead next and so banks keep turning over profits.

Don't laugh. This will hit all industries. All jobs are up for grabs as automation moves forward.

Its a postive feedback loop
The more jobs they cut...the less people they will have to pillage...which leads to even more jobs being cut.
The system will collapse under its own weight.
All we can resonable do is prepare.

Well the whole system has to completely change. I'm saying Capitalism doesn't work anymore.

The most secure jobs literally are in art. No joke. I saw when I was 17. I've only worked in art related industries.

^^ I will add, the above video where they "print" a house in 24 hours is simply the structural shell. You still need things like plumbing, electricity, heating, cooling, interior finishes (flooring, paint, window treatments, etc), before it is really a house. Plus that shell still needs a foundation, to be designed based on the local soil conditions of any proposed site. Ahh, it feels good to be needed... :)

I can do everything needed except the foundation, would need to rent a backhoe.

I just cant imagine how they need 50,000 people. Seems a staggering amount for what is basically an automated business system.
Chinese don't need plumbing. No one does. trust me, we'll find out soon enough. Good idea though. Is it really printing?
