miss ya all.........

its going to be tough..........

crazy place remote if you drive far enough and I have to drive far.....

a very safe place in a melt down

plenty of sea food , deer/pigs/possum even wekas not that you are allowed to kill them but when it comes to the situation then there is more to eat and catch out there then anywhere I know of...........

fresh water, energized air

too far away for anyone to get too as you need enough fuel to get back out

there is a road not shown on this map which leads to paradise..........

shows the boat trip which is out standing...........

most enjoyable moments are looking out at the water at different times of the day and the changing atmospheres that occur are amazing,,,,,,,,,,,,it keeps a person entrahelled ...

everywhere you walk its either up or down , takes a few days to gain back lost fitness but once you have it back there is no better feeling than walking up a hill......it becomes exhilarating sometimes

.before then it makes you tired.

going to build a veranda and car port , fix up house truck kitchen.

lot of history take too long to explain ,,more like a book.........

I love the South Island, but don't be deceived, Kiwi's are called the poms of the south seas for a reason.

They're generally uptight, stiff and self righteous. The worst part is they all think they're innovative, relaxed and hip, it makes me laugh when I go there.

The northen part of the south island is where the hippies live, so for all Serpo's protestations they aren't at all representative of the rest of the majority of the south island.

OMG, you have to go there to know what I mean, lol :D

I wonder why there are so many NZed'ers in Oz. Jobs I guess. I think it looks pretty nice over there. I'm not real keen on cold so would need to some warm some time.

This thread got me thirsty so after work I grabbed a wine from that area. Marlborough and Oyster bay.

They also grow hops in that area. Motueka. Probably many varieties of "hops".

Gun laws are better there than here for long guns. More choices.

Don't forget their use of the chilly bins instead of the correct eski...

Glass, heres one for you, I was on a plane landing in Christchurch taxiing towards the terminal to disembark, and I was in my own world thinking of what I had to do (kids in tow, luggage in the overheads etc) and in the background all I could hear was chicken this chicken that , so I turned to my partner and in all seriousness asked whats with all that chicken stuff, she laughs and says you mean 'check in', I laughed so hard...lol :p

NZ is pretty strict about visas, so the long term solution requires to find a real NZ husband/sweetheart ...

Australians don't need any visa to stay in NZ, even indefinitely, so technically you could just find an Australian, then move to NZ.

Plus then you won't die of boredom! :D

The Chinese and Islanders have this shit figured out, if you get residency in either country then you can live in both.
