Rand Paul: Vaccines Can Lead to 'Mental Disorders'
Republican Sen. Rand Paul is standing by his statement that most vaccinations should be "voluntary," telling CNBC (http://video.cnbc.com/gallery/?video=3000351424) that a parent's choice not to vaccinate a child is "an issue of freedom."

In an interview with the network Monday, Paul said that vaccines are "a good thing" but that parents "should have some input" into whether or not their children must get them.

And he gave credence to the idea - disputed by the majority of the scientific community - that vaccination can lead to mental disabilities.
"I have heard of many tragic cases of walking, talking normal children who wound up with profound mental disorders after vaccines," he said.

Paul's comments came the same day that Gov. Chris Christie said that parents should have "a measure of choice" in whether children are vaccinated. The New Jersey governor, who -- like Paul -- is considering a 2016 run, later issued a statement clarifying that he believes that "there is no question" that children should be vaccinated for diseases like measles.

Earlier Monday, Paul said on Laura Ingraham's radio show that "most" vaccines should be voluntary.

Those of us who have children and do not vaccinate should look at ways to prepare the eventual event when states mandate they be given without exemption.

The media is so fucking stupid, don't even bother to ask real questions like where did this measles strain come from? My guess is that it crossed the border with the illegal who was carrying it. Why did vaccinated individuals get it if the vaccine is so effective? Why fail to report that Merck is currently being sued about the mmr vaccines efficiency?

The list goes on and on with media bias. They are nothing more than a mouth piece to the government who grants them broadcasting licenses. They'll never bite the hand that allows them to exist.

After a day of criticism over comments he made about vaccinations and mental disorders, Sen. Rand Paul, R-Kentucky, tried to clarify his statement today and show his own comfort with vaccinations.

"I did not say vaccines caused disorders, just that they were temporally related -- I did not allege causation. I support vaccines, I receive them myself and I had all of my children vaccinated," Sen. Rand Paul said in a statement today.

He rasied a hundread kabillion dollars and when it came down to it all he did was pay off his campagin debts and wasnt even allowed to speak even though he had more than enough delegats.

He got slapped around like a red headed stepp child and when he finally was allowed to speak(on jay leno if i remember well) he said NOTHING over a flowery whisper about his treatment by the RNC at the convention.
