If it ever comes to light that this is Fuku related, it will cause an economic crash that can only be called epic.
I can see why most on the west coast will stay silent, there's just too much to lose...and if this is what many think it is, it's only a matter of time before it's affecting people, all of us.
Someone will have to be held accountable for a cover-up that left so many in harms way.

FOX 11 News, Feb 23, 2015 (emphasis added): Dozens of dead Sea Lions litter Malibu beaches; families shocked — A family stumbled upon nearly 10 dead sea lions on a Malibu beach Sunday (WARNING: GRAPHIC IMAGES IN THIS STORY AND VIDEO) “We just came down the stairs and little sea lions are being washed on to shore dying,” Neda Soderqvist says… “It was devastating to see a bunch of sea lions just lying dead. It wasn’t one or two it was six or eight,” Soderqvist said to FOX 11′s Christine O’Donnell. The sight was especially difficult for her seven-year-old… “They came up and just died right in front of us,” Isabella said… Earlier in the week, Kristin Thames says stumbled across the same devastating scene… “They’re only allowed to take three sea lion pups because there’s not enough space at the rescue centers for more,” Thames said, “it’s really sad.”

Marin Independent Journal, Feb 21, 2015: “First time in our history that we have had sea lion pups here this early” [said] Shawn Johnson, director of veterinary science at the mammal center… sea lions are a sentinel species, a canary in the coal mine. “They can tell us what is happening in the ocean and if it’s unhealthy.”

Fox News, Feb 23, 2015: A heartbreaking and troubling mystery for the third year in a row… Johnson: “They’re so thin, they’re like 15-16 pounds… they should be 30-40″… Scientists say this year is the worst in history – 10 times the normal number of strandings… Johnson: “It’s obvious that the ocean is changing, and the sea lions are sentinels of the seas. They’re telling us that there are major changes going on out there in the oceans today.”

OC Register, Feb 18, 2015: Nearly 1,000 sea lion pups have been found stranded on the Southern California beaches this year, about five times higher than what caused experts to panic two years ago… Wednesday, centers reported 940 for the year… 196 sea lions were reported stranded along Southern California beaches in by the end of February 2013, the year NOAA declared an unusual mortality event…

La Jolla Light, Feb 17, 2015: Concerned citizens and visitors to La Jolla’s beaches have been excessively calling 911 to report malnourished and dehydrated sea lion pups, reports San Diego lifeguard Lt. Rich Stropky, which is “bogging down the system.”

Geoffrey Melendres, Feb 23, 2015: “I tried to save this one the day before yesterday … but when I looked for it yesterday I found it dead with its grieving momma.”

Unaired footage shows seagulls eating baby sea lions, Feb 15, 2015: “The seagull’s eating it!”

Please help me share this video ~ I was able to get FOX 11 news to air it, Feb 23, 2015: “Please help me spread awareness ~ our sea lions are dying by the dozens daily. Wildlife can only help rescue three a day due to nowhere to place them. I’m so sad and hopeless for these poor sea animals. The more noise we make the faster we can help.”

Its clear its Fukushima. I just cannot fathom that it's such a mystery. Can people have no idea of Fukushima?

You know we have had a huge number of sushi bars opening up here recently. they are every few stores in the trendy shopping places. Seriously they are everywhere, and doing a brisk trade. So people here obviously don't know. The Japanese who have come here know. The fish is local but the seaweed is from Japan, other ingredients they use too.

We also have a big increase in the number of chinese massage. There is many of them. Several in each shopping strip. Many are proper massage in the Malls but the others are probably happy ending. Also nails and foot spa. Big thing. Chinese. Many of these. Maybe the 1st generation born here from more open borders all started work at once. and not fuku related. Japanese is for sure.

Most people can't even name the Vice President.

These days will be cut short or NO flesh would survive.

Fuku is getting worse by the day. It continues to spew out poison. Once the storage pools break loose, it will be like opening the gates of hell.

Mat 24:21 For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be.
Mat 24:22 And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect's sake those days shall be shortened.

i expect Fukushima awareness to begin impacting real estate prices anyday.

on the other hand, Malibu is still real expensive.

I highly doubt that. They spray shit daily in the sky all day and it's nearly impossible to convince the average person that's anything more than contrails.

What if by chance it is not radioactive materials killing the sea life...what if it's toxic chemicals that washed into the ocean from the tsunami itself? Does anybody really know what kind of chemicals got washed in?

Pollution from China was deadly and getting worse long before there was a Fuku. It is possible that mercury, cadmium, lead and organic toxins could be ramped up enough to kill most of the sea life. Cytotoxins from algae would be easy enough to detect but if there is no algae, that kind of rules that idea out.

I suspect that within the next year or two we will see iron compounds contaminating much of the surface water. We will have space intruders... the physical realm following the spiritual.

I am sure its a combination of things. but

TEPCO Admits Delaying Report Of Major Radiation Leak Into The Pacific Ocean For 10 Months

While faith in Japanese 'economics' is starting to falter (borne out by the split in the BoJ and endless macro data disappointments), trust in TEPCO and its governmental operators must be about to hit a new record low. Having promised and given up on the ice-wall strategy to stop radioactive water leaking into the ocean, Bloomberg reports (http://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2015-02-25/radioactive-water-at-fukushima-site-leaks-into-ocean-tepco-says?hootPostID=a58ac2c63fad0e5ddd94ced778cff5a7) TEPCO officials have admitted that it’s investigating the cause of a spike in radiation levels (23,000 becquerels/liter vs the legal limit of 90) in drainage water that it believes subsequently leaked into the Pacific ocean from the wrecked Fukushima nuclear power plant. The bigger problem, as NBC reports, (http://www.nbcnews.com/news/world/radioactive-fukushima-water-leak-was-unreported-months-official-n312396) TEPCO failed to report the leak for 10 months!

No workers were exposed and tests of radiation levels in sea water in the port adjacent to the plant showed no significant increase, the company said.

Ocean water tests will be increased to daily sampling from weekly as it investigates the leak, it added.

Rainwater is believed to have become contaminated through contact with radioactive substances and then flowed into drainage ditches, a spokesperson for the Tokyo-based company said today by phone, asking not to be named because of company policy. The company is unable to estimate the size of the radioactive water leak, the person said.

Tepco, as the company is known, detected 23,000 becquerels per liter of cesium 137, from rainwater accumulated on the roof of the No. 2 reactor building, the utility said yesterday in a statement. The legal limit for releasing cesium 137 is 90 becquerels per liter.
...

Tepco has had repeated failures in stemming radioactive water leaks at the plant since it had three reactor meltdowns almost four years ago following an earthquake and tsunami.

But the fact that a massively radioactive leak occurred is not the worst of it.. As NBC News reports, (http://www.nbcnews.com/news/world/radioactive-fukushima-water-leak-was-unreported-months-official-n312396)

The operator of Japan's tsunami-stricken Fukushima nuclear power plant admitted it failed to report a radioactive rainwater leak from the facility for about 10 months.

The company noticed a spike in radiation levels in the plant's drainage system, particularly after rainfall, in April, according to a Tokyo Electric Power Company (TEPCO) official who spoke at a televised press conference on Tuesday.

"This was part of an ongoing investigation in which we discovered a water puddle with high levels of radiation on top of the Reactor No. 2 building, and because this also happens to be one of the sources for this drainage system, we decided to report everything all at once," the unnamed official said to explain why the findings weren't reported immediately.

...

The governor of Fukushima Prefecture Masao Uchibori criticized TEPCO's withholding of information.

"It is extremely regrettable the swift release of information and the importance of that awareness — these basic things were not carried out," he said in comments carried by Nippon TV.

more very bad news

----------------------------------

‘Cleanup crews trying to mitigate Japan’s never-ending radiation crisis at Fukushima ran into more problems recently after sensors monitoring a drainage gutter detected a huge spike in radiation levels from wastewater pouring into the Pacific Ocean.

The Tokyo Electric Power Company says radiation levels were up to 70 times, or 7,000 percent, higher than normal, prompting an immediate shutdown of the drainage instrument. The first readings came around 10 a.m. local time on February 22, setting off alarms not once but twice as radiation levels spiked to extremely high levels.’
