I am having a ball reading the so called "experts" in what they are saying about WTSHTF.......they say that you should have at least three months of food and water in stock.........hahahhahaahahahahah, so, after three months the birds will be out once again, there will be power, the shelf in the stores will be full, the dollar will be a dollar, all hospitals will be open, there will be gasoline everywhere, the mercenary police will be gone, schools will be open, you will be free to travel once again.

FUCKING STUPID DICkHEADS........ WTSHTF has lasted in Cuba for over FIFTY YEARS and it is now hard to get anything as it was forty years ago.

Learn to work on cars, learn to be a plumer, carpenter, electrician........learn how to fix things, to be a farmer.......learn how to trade and have a trailer handy so that you can take whatever from A to B.

What your kids learn today will be their survival tomorrow......send them to a trade school and not college and prepared them for their future.

Buy all the old non working stuff that you can buy for pennies.....maybe the motor wont work but screws are there the belt is there and many other stuff that can be used to repair other things..........all is what you make it be and not only for what it was made.

Get the hell out of all the big cities..........but don't come to mine. Dr's, nurses, mechanics, carpenters, plumers are more than welcome.......NOT WELCOME? lawyers, book keepers, poleticians, cops and other useless eaters.

There is an olde saying that says "when goods stop flowing over borders, solders will flow next".

Today "credit" flows could be inserted for or used in conjunction with "goods."

IMO long before the ATM's run dry or the grocery shelves become empty, the empire will have been deployed and engaged in war time conflicts to protect commerce and its international interests.... The only way that the "Mad Max" SHTF scenario arrives into western civilization would be nuclear war, a major space rock collision or some other catastrophe such as a solar EMP, numerous eq's or volcanic eruptions across the planet or maybe a major defeat of conventional NATO forces.... A real SHTF scenario is a low risk event at this time, however ebents can & do develope in the blink of an eye.... IMO, the greatest threat today rests upon nuclear triggers... absent such an event, TSHTF Mad Max scenarios are low probabilities.... All the same, it is the "COMPETANT" individuals responsibility to learn how to repair, mend, fabricate, etc. the essentials required for living.... regardless of whether TSHTF is expected or not!

"A human being should be able to change a diaper, plan an invasion, butcher a hog, conn a ship, design a building, write a sonnet, balance accounts, build a wall, set a bone, comfort the dying, take orders, give orders, cooperate, act alone, solve equations, analyze a new problem, pitch manure, program a computer, cook a tasty meal, fight efficiently, die gallantly. Specialization is for insects."

Geee Ponce... that was your best post for some time now and you even got Cuba in it. I was a little disappointed that you didn't say a 30 year toilet paper supply is top priority.

Stop having so much fun and think of the future........like......clean and keep every empty container that you have, simply put them in a big plastic bag.

To many of you what I write is nothing.......but.....I have been there and seen it.........you know as well as I do the TSWHTF.

Spec? 30 years of tp is all that I need, after all, I am almost 75...........uffffffffffffffffffff

When do you plan to restock?

When you run out at 105 or a year or so before?

You need to keep inflation in mind!

OK... for you just 20 years.

Re- the empty containers, I do save certain things. Jars, plastic jugs, buckets. They get used and could be real handy in SHTF situations.
