File charges against the 47 U.S. Senators in violation of The Logan Act in attempting to undermine a nuclear agreement. On March 9th, 2015, forty-seven United States Senators committed a treasonous offense when they decided to violate the Logan Act, a 1799 law which forbids unauthorized citizens from negotiating with foreign governments. Violation of the Logan Act is a felony, punishable under federal law with imprisonment of up to three years.

At a time when the United States government is attempting to reach a potential nuclear agreement with the Iranian government, 47 Senators saw fit to instead issue a condescending letter to the Iranian government stating that any agreement brokered by our President would not be upheld once the president leaves office.

This is a clear violation of federal law. In attempting to undermine our own nation, these 47 senators have committed treason.

petitions are a waste of time. Politicians do not need to heed them. The Governor does. But not the elected representatives. Unless the petition is going to the governor it's a waste of time and energy.

Someone, Joe Public should just go and file the damn papers themselves. Stop expecting a crook to prosecute themself. Not never ever going to happen.

Yeah, good luck with that.

They don't follow the constitution, why would they care about an act from 1799.

Why would you sign the petition to prosecute them?
What they are doing is moral....whereas the president is allowing the arming of dangerous fanatics with the potential of making weapons of mass destruction who do not see the western world as freindly. Did we not invade a country for having weapons of mass destruction?
Furthermore, I dont see it as an act of "negotiating" either. They are simple stating a possible fact.

Yes, they do follow the US Constituion....its you who has no idea how the Constitution works.
The 14th amendment is part of the Constitution and it allowed the government to do certain things and certain citizens (you) cannot complain about it.
Love your government Social Security benefits?.......then shut up about it you second class "US citizen".
The 14th amendment forbids you from complaining or taking action.

The Senate has the authority to approve international treaties under the constitution, so they may be authorized citizens in that sense. Had the House done that , it may be a different story.

Yes Iraq was invaded with the excuse they had wmd's. The only thing they found following the invasion was a few vials of chemical weapons well past the expiry date, sold by the US, to Saddam Hussein in the early 80's.

Iran doesn't have any nukes, meanwhile Israel has hundreds, ultimately aimed at the capitals of Europe, in their Sampson option. That is the elephant in the room, ordering these 47 senators to destabilize and destroy these negotiations. You really must love Bibi, and have no problem with the possible future destruction of Athens, Rome, Budapest, Prague, Berlin, Stockholm, Copenhagen, London, Paris and Madrid on the altar of Zionism.
