Just got back from the big city after buying my bi-monthly groceries........dollar store full, and with good selection at the freezer.......never seen so many people at Wally's comparing prices and with little pieces of paper saying what was needed at home. Even elder couple are conferring with each other about what to buy.
There was an elder couple looking at the little box of dog treats at $3.45, I told them to go next door to the $ store where the same thing was only one dollar...they were so appreciative.
Roads pretty full and saw one service station closing down............went to the council meeting last Monday where a permit was given to the new Italian restaurant here in town to sell wine and beer...........they also gave permission to build a new building for a DOLLAR STORE, the only grocery store here in town must be pissed of as hell.
Still no snow so that it will be a very dry summer.....I already clean my two water tanks and filled them up... will top them off every week, they will last me six months.
