I'll nevr spend more then $4,000 for a car or buy one newer than 10 years. They are so well built now and the costs depreciate too much. Rather have more $$$ for Au/Ag.

And THAT my friends is the shining face of corporatism.

No business could keep its doors open and still be able to asorb those type of losses unless they where able to work hand in glove with gubbermint

The sheer insanity that million of cars can literrally rot while hundread of millions have to walk

Lays bare how incredibly wicked these people are.

I picked up a new vehicle last year. I decided on a vehicle 4 years ago and then hung on for 2 years before buying. Dealer could not deliver a car after 4 months or so because of supply problems. I waited another 2 years before trying again. 2nd time around I got the next model up for the same money and a few sweetners to boot.

I really took so long because I didn't want to buy new I was hoping for 2nd hand but the prices of those were only a few thousand shy of new. We had a lot of demand because of the mining boom and the vehicle is a small dual cab pickup. smaller than a F150. So dealers asking top dollar and not much 2nd hand choices around.

Now the mining boom has ended I can see many dual cabs of all brands in the yards now. The brand I bought seems to be one of those that people don't sell. Unless they have to, they seem to keep them. I hope to keep this one until one of us gives up the ghost. I think it's an excellent vehicle.
