we got a big carry on here because some young girl, walking alone after dark was attacked and killed in a park. So it's all man hate in the news.

Gotta praise the justice system, social workers and the popo because they be protecting the women, but the men is an evil bastard animal.

I tried to say, where are the chivalrous men? Why didn't she have a chaperone? Why was she walking in a park alone after dark?

We had a young woman killed in a lane way in the early morning in Melbourne. At a night spot. The husband goes home and leaves his wife alone in the part of town. She gets raped and murdered. I asked where the hell was he? WTF was he doing going home and leaving his wife to walk home in the early AM of the morning?

Gee did I get screamed down like I'm some kind of dog, for suggesting men should watch out for their women. I'm a bad man. And it's all carry on again today. Lets not focus on what the victim should or should not have done. Lets focus on the evil dogs of men. Gotta tar everyone with the same brush.

Crazy world we live in, indeed. I figure treat others as I would want to be treated, and look after loved ones, well because you love them. If that makes me a bad man, to hell what they think anyway. I open doors for women all the time, and the reality is most folks appreciate a kind gesture.

The feminists have their claws deep in the media. The video in the OP is propaganda, as with most of the media to begin with. It's not that bad out there, imo.

for a long time there I stopped opening doors or deferring to women when going through a door or walking on the traffic side of the footpath. Many years ago I opened and held open a door once a a young lady who had her arms full and was struggling to hold it all. Well the swearing and obscenities I got in return for that. I realised afterwards I had encountered a dyke. That was that. No more deference, no more opening doors, no more letting in line to pay first. Tough schizen.

But that video tells you everything. They think they can behave anyway they want because 911 will come and save them. The state not a man will come to the rescue.

The thing is not all gal's are like that. Think of it as a filtering process. If you open the door for a gal, and she snarls at you for it, she's confused and lost and definitely not worth your time.

I'm excited about this new gal I've met. She runs the local snack restaurant. I had come in for a breakfast, and her coworker I've never spoken with approached me. She took my hands into hers and said I should ask this woman out, so I did, and we had a great time. She has very old school european mannerisms, very feminine.

She lived in Cyprus during the banking holidays/haircuts.

You best stick with your Hooter's gals and prostitutes. Some gals have a conversation level above your intellect.

Well I mean besides his relationships with other members on site...

I think it's wrong that you let the feminists beat you with their "equality' issues. Look at it like Hitch says, it's a filtering process.
If you open a door for a lady and she smiles at you, you win, you walk away feeling good about the smile she gave you.
If you open a door for a feminist/dyke and she snarls at, or gives you a rude comment, you win because your act of kindness/respect becomes an act of dominance to her. The act is telling her you're the man, not her.
You give up, they win.

When I ever hear a feminist mention the word equality, I say, I will be all for equality when men start having babies and the death rate of women equals that of men in the workplace and military.

I disagree. You continue giving them courtesy, while behind your back they lobby to take away all of your rights with VAWA and the like, you look weak, they win. You give them genuine equality, they get a chance to actually experience the thing they think they've been asking for.

I'm a middle aged white guy. I will hold doors for old people, young black males (who will ALWAYS thank me, ALWAYS, but then I am in suburbia and not some big inner city, and this is the South, not some Yankeeland hellhole), and other men. I will always let the door close on young and middle aged women, women with children, women with arms full of groceries herding small children, and teenage girls. Once or twice I got nasty looks and a comment or two for holding doors for this group, so no more.

Say whatever you want. I am a realist. I went to traffic court recently and the cop complained to the judge that I had been "rude" to him by simply not speaking with him. Am I supposed to be polite to someone who is trying to rob me? Why should I reward their complicity with social pleasantness? You are a fool.

So you hurt his feelings?? ??? I did not know that donut munchers had feelings, from my observations it would appear as a class they are as cold as one can possibly be. It's mandatory when beating the people back into line.

Remember who trains your domestic police forces...

Who cries out in pain as he strikes you?

Yes, the mentality is either contagious, or teachable.

SWRichmond, have you ever met a happy feminist? While they go through life feeling entitled and miserable, we can open doors for them with the biggest grin. Who really wins? ;D Try this next time you open the door for one, if she snarls at you, say have a nice day ma'am with a smile. (hint: they really really hate being called ma'am)

I'm not sure that they beat me. It was just shocking to be sworn at so profanely in a public place by someone I was trying to assist. I decided that they all just wanted to do stuff for themselves. That's a valid part of relying on the state for everything a.k.a. feminism. Even the women who appreciate normally chivalry. Marxism is one in all in. I see no problem with that. I think my experience fits the OP.

Its funny, the skanks where I live are surprised when a man opens a door for them, they go a little coy and all gooey because most of the cro-magnons around here are of the "treat 'em mean, keep 'em keen" kind.

Sometimes I think we're going full circle.

When I hold the door open for anybody I will say, "Please, no tipping." It usually gets a laugh and a thank you.
