Facebook user fakes suicide to see how the Facebook suicide prevention tool works and ends up in a mental asylum
Tuesday 24th March 2015

Shane Tusch faked his suicide in an attempt to test the authenticity of Facebook suicide prevention tool and got detained for 72 hours

Facebook has rolled out a set of tools to keep a check on its users who are having suicidal tendencies and prevent these users from suicidal attempts. In case some user is having suicidal thoughts and mentions that in the Facebook posts and if a friend of that user reports it to Facebook then a third party will immediately review the post and Facebook would lock the suicidal user’s account and the user will be made to read Facebook’s suicide prevention materials.

Shane Tusch, a resident of San Mateo, wanted to check out if this suicide prevention tool is real or not!’....

On 26th February 2015, Tusch posted his frustrations regarding the stress he had been facing due to first amendment made to his home loan by the bank. He posted that he was undergoing trouble paying his bank debts for quite some time and in the post he declared that he would take his life in some public place.

Tusch’s post read :”So I have decided to take my life in some very public way that will hopefully get people talking about the crimes these banks have payed off are governments and left their wives and kids in the streets. I think hanging myself from the Golden Gate Bridge with a big sign that says bank america killed me and left my wife and kids without a father or a home!”

LOL what a fucking nanny state we live in.

It's so contradictory. They want population control, but step in to prevent idiots from ending their own lives....

I like it!
I'm all for many more government surveillance controls/tools on facebook...so many that if you mention the words death, kill, gun, war, anti-government talk, that you'll get a visit from one of the government (alphabet) agencies.
Hopefully facebook will become unusable and people will finally kick the Jew/government social media surveillance/control site to the curb.

Its pattern and key word matching. Nothing special. It does confirm that every word is scanned. Is it a real story? A PR stunt?

Does it prevent? Or does it detect and timing is of the essence? What if the system evolves and becomes a gate keeper and actually suppresses the messages so people have always topped themselves before anyone else gets the tweet? But everyone goes on believing it is preventing suicides so they are feeling good about FB?

Did the guy leave one asylum for another or during the 72 hours did he realize he had been in one and was now getting some time out?

Anyone that thinks government gives a crap about you or your kids killing them/your selves is mistaken.
They do however, knowing the anti-government sentiment out there, care that suicidal people might harm their interests.

Ahhh the lone wolf angle. I hadn't thought about that. Good point.

It isn't for you to decide over your being or non-being. Livestock doesn't have that right!

Or those that pour all their living details out into one easily gatherable weblink are a highly valued genetic resource.

Santa Clara: Shooting of suicidal woman highlights increasing police role in mental health response

SANTA CLARA -- The 25-year police veteran approached the front door, knowing the woman on the other side had warned 911 dispatchers she would goad officers into killing her.
He was trained for this. Not just the danger, but also for mental health crises experts say account for a growing number of police calls.
Sgt. Alan Wolf never got a chance to use his mental health training, Santa Clara police said. When the door swung open, the woman flashed an aluminum baseball bat. Wolf and Officer Andrew McGuire opened fire.
The department absorbed a torrent of criticism in the wake of the April 13 fatal shooting, with residents incensed by the deadly force used on a woman standing 5-foot-5 and facing three armed officers.

Suicide by cop is quite frequent.

It's a good way to kill yourself without really killing yourself.

Maybe this way his family gets the insurance policy that would not have been paid out by a real suicide.
