Anyway, at least she didn't hurt anyone..... with the car. Does the video show her hitting that red car? Only heard the guys talking about it.

I've sometimes just said, stuff it and parked in strange ways. I once got stuck in a car park and needed to reverse but the people behind me were having none of that. So I drove onto the concourse, across the court yard past all the art and fountains and pulled up at the front door. Left the car and went in side to complete my business. Just had enough of people not being courteous and seeing I was stuck.

Nobody puts D.C. Del. Eleanor Holmes Norton in the corner — or more accurately, on an angle....

Basically the parking gods gave Norton a diagonal and she met them with disdain. The 77-year-old delegate doesn’t need your rules. Present her with a slightly angled parking space and Norton scoffs....

Thing is, while squeezing her car into the spot, Norton appears to have scraped her properly parked neighbors....


Twenty minutes later, according to the eyewitness, the delegate hopped back in her Batmobile and on her way.

Norton’s office confirmed the not-so-great parking job but not any negative repercussions.


“Fortunately, the congresswoman did not have a parking mishap,” said Benjamin Fritsch, Norton’s communications director.

After his boss finished parking, Fritsch said, they assessed the two cars on either side of Norton’s sedan.


“We did not see any damages,” Fritsch added, “but left a business card and a note so the congresswoman could be reached.”
