Hot ice?

Thought this was a bit interesting. An induction heating coil makes an ice cube turn red hot....or appears to get red hot.
Any thoughts?

There is a small piece of iron or steel imbedded in the ice, that is what heats up and glows, it does it so fast the ice at first does not melt.
