DETROIT (WWJ) – After McDonald’s announced a $1 an hour raise, increased vacation time and educational benefits for employees in its non-franchise stores, local cashiers and cooks marched to one of the company’s restaurants Thursday.
And it wasn’t to offer thanks.
Dozens of protesters burst into the McDonald’s on W. McNichols and Livernois Thursday to have their voices heard, demanding raises to boost them to $15 an hour.
Organizers with the “Fight For $15″ movement pushed for a bigger increase and lobbied for a labor union.

Is ok, they would rather go on welfare than work anyway.........they should ask for a higher welfare.

Today on my way to the VA I stopped at a Mc to get a big breakfast an some milk.......I say "I would like the big breakfast and a cartoon of milk if you please".....she "Would you like some hot cakes with it"........me "Of course".........she "Syrup with the hot cakes"......me "Of course".......she "How about some butter".....me "Of course"......she "You want it with some bread"........me "IS THIS MACDONALD".....she "I think so"....................the bill was for $6.16 so I gave her $21.16 hahahahahha she had to call the manager to find out what to do.......all that she had to do was to give me back $15.00.........oh well. AT least I didn't give her three of my $2.00 bills and .16 cents, she would have called the cops.
