Gay activists protest the Masterpiece Cakeshop in 2012. Owner Jack Phillips now faces charges for not baking a cake for the gay couple. (Free Republic)
Gay marriage was banned by the Colorado constitution in 2006.
But this didn’t stop the Colorado Attorney General’s office from filing a discrimination complaint against Masterpiece Cakeshop for not baking a cake for a gay couple.
In July 2013 the Colorado Attorney General’s office filed a discrimination complaint against the owners of Masterpiece Cakeshop, who last year declined to make a cake for Denver couple Dave Mullins and Charlie Craig, the Associated Press reports.
In December 2013 a judge ruled against the bakery owner. Judge Robert Spencer ordered Jack Phillips, owner of Masterpiece Cakeshop in suburban Denver, to accommodate sex-couples or face fines and other possible penalties.
Now this…
The Colorado Department of Regulatory Agencies determined last week that a Denver bakery did nothing wrong when it refused to write anti-gay words on a cake.
Can you taste the double-standard!

They had this guy on the radio this morning. The "anti-gay" words on the cake were Bible verses extolling that Christ died for us while we were all sinners. Soon the Bible will be officially declared a hateful discriminatory document.

If the words that basically represent the main message of the NT have been cited as being "anti-gay" in a "court of law", then I would say it's already a done deal.

Seems like gays are moving in to take over the cake-baking industry. What's next pink unicorns with rainbow manes?

The fagot cake takes the cake. If I had to do a gay wedding cake or lose my business, I would surely let them have the fagot cake and fight the battle.

Sometimes there are better methods than saying no. Requests can be misunderstood, misread etc...

People are starving, wars going on, economy in a downward spiral, yet the human rights activists are more concerned with men's right to stick their penis in another mans butthole.

Exactly, it's the same thing.
I just don't get it. This baker is obviously religious and believes being gay is a sin, and they force him to make a cake that goes against his religion. These rights activists don't believe in actual individual rights.
They believe it is a right to be gay, but don't believe in a man's right to run his own business? You can't make these insane people happy.
