There's a commercial on the radio station in SF bay area encouraging folks to sign up for EBT benefits.
It said, if you've been denied in the past, reapply today because the requirements have been relaxed. Every month "poof" your card get's reloaded automatically....It said, if you are a family of 4, and make less than $4000 a month, you qualify. You can get up to $700 a month in EBT credits.
Now, $4000 a month, x12 is $48,000 a year. Before taxes that has to be what? $60,000 a year?
Isn't that a middle class income, or at least an income where a man could provide for a family? I'm seriously confused by this add I heard.
