Over 100K Italians sign petition for Eurozone exit referendum

Published on Apr 10, 2015

An Italian euro sceptic party has collected over 100,000 signatures for a petition, which is demanding a referendum should be held to debate Italy’s continued participation in the Eurozone. The Five Star Movement (M5S) MP Carlo Sibila stressed that the M5S does not want to leave the European Union, but merely to leave the currency union.

So they want to remain in the EU but just be able to print their own money? Nice try but it'll never happen.

UK, Sweden and Denmark is part of the European Union, but has remained outside the Euro-zone... But of course it is probably easier to remain outside, than it is to leave it once in...

I am pretty sure the Euro was originally designed with carbon tax and associated products in mind. Those patents and tax products have had an extremely hard go at it across the globe. Either that or it was just originally intended as a dollar velocity booster. Whatever it is, its structurally inept.

Germany and France are the only 2 that do any kind of real gdp to support it. German cars are not going to power that entire grid. Someone needed a better plan to begin with.
