Children in families earning less than $25,000 ( £16,900) a year had brain surface areas 6% smaller than those who earned $150,000 (£68,500)
Separate study found differences in thickness of parts of brain's cortex
This could explain as much as 44 per cent of the income achievement gap

Food banks: One million Britons will soon be using them, according to Trussell Trust
Figures from the Trussell Trust, the biggest provider of emergency food aid with more than 400 food banks in the UK, will be seen as evidence that families on low incomes are not sharing in the benefits of economic recovery. The statistics could puncture the Conservatives’ optimism on the economy after official figures yesterday showed there are two million more people in work than in 2010, and 557,000 more than a year ago.

i hear msnbc playing in the background of some of your posts. it's one of my favorite comedy channels. today they are crying racism against all black women because obomba controllers' nominee for att general hasn't been confirmed yet


back to topic -- the kids' are dumb because they are offspring of the dumb. and dumb are overrepresented in the bottom of income scale.

pathetic how the author tries to flip this around - claiming poor creates dumb
