A lovesick Australian man dumped by his girlfriend of four years, was browsing the web when he came across an offer he could not refuse. Bingo Cabin, a brand new online casino just released in Australia, was offering new players $30 free (with no credit card or deposit required) for a chance to win a progressive jackpot of over half a million Australian dollars (A$500,000.00)
Carl Matthews, 26, from Perth, Australia had just lost his job, and had incurred over $9,300 of credit card bills he could not afford to pay back. Just when he thought his situation could not get any worse, his beloved girlfriend, Amy Parkinson, decided to call it and she quits.
Amy admits, “I was just over his lack of motivation. Carl was the sweetest guy, but was in a never-ending hole. My girlfriends would continuously tell me that I needed someone with drive, who could look after me financially and I just never saw Carl being that person.”
Little did Amy know, Carls life was about to dramatically change. Those $30 free dollars that initially aroused his interest ended up multiplying for him over 10,000 times. After spinning for 14 minutes, Carl won a progressive Jackpot on the Bingo Cabin; game “The Posh Life”. Soon, he received a massive sum of $362,259.00 in his bank account.
“I was at an absolute loss of words. I could not believe I had just won all of this money, all from one lucky spin on Bingo Cabin. My life was in the slums and this was just what I needed to get me back on track. God is clearly on my side. I am beyond excited to restart my life with this new found wealth” Matthews reported when describing his reaction to this massive win.
The story was soon after picked up by local newspaper, The West Australian. Amy, who receives this paper daily immediately saw her ex-boyfriend on the cover. Her feelings towards Carl quickly changed. ” Carl reported.
She started calling, texting, emailing, saying she wanted to give it another go. Saying she wanted to make it work. That she loved me, she missed me, she couldn’t imagine life without me
Carl currently remains single. Amy remains persistent in giving their relationship another go.

Good for Carl. He hit rock bottom and bounced back pretty quick. At rock bottom you find out who your real friends are, unfortunately his ol girlfriend was not one of them.

I hope to conduct a very scientific experiment, Neuro. If a hot babe happens upon the path of this experiment, it may be hard to turn off the data seeking mental mode I may be in. :)

"Bingo Cabin", eh?
I believe when this "story" was posted a few months back, the casino had a different name, and the guy was from England. There was a thread posted on here, but I can't remember the name. It was discovered the story was BS... nothing but an advertisement.
Ah! Here's the story... "King Jackpot"... LOL

I'm going to write a true story for Mr. Brew in lieu of the BS story
#1
Boy meets girl
Boy showers girl with gifts, dinner, drives her around in nice car and takes her to his nice home
Boy falls on hard times
Boy loses home, car and takes girl to Cracker Barrel to eat
Girl leaves boy
#2
Boy meets nice girl
Boy gets good sex
Boy says good enough, she's a keeper!
*This is a true story and is played out millions of times each day

Good catch BrewTech. A lotto winner is just a walking target. I never read a happy story. Never.

I don't disagree... it has happened to me (albeit in not so dramatic a fashion) in the past.
That being said, it worries me that on this forum, a fake story can roll through not once, but twice, and is not recognized for what it really is.
That causes me to question my faith in my fellow observers!

Because these kind of stories have no importance to anything, but they do ring of truth.

I'd rather have the version in British pounds, not British dollars or Australian dollars. Thought the story sounded fami-liar
