View Full Version : Truth About Sitting Toilets That You'll Never Hear About Today...

This is a crap thread..........................

I set up this website to share with you what I know about sitting toilets, the specific ailments and diseases that they can cause, and what you can do about it.

Research revealed that squatting - not sitting - is a more natural and comfortable position to empty the bowels http://www.toilet-related-ailments.com/images/squatting-man.gif This is reflected in the design of the colon and human body. In the sitting position, it is physically impossible to evacuate waste completely and efficiently. This is the reason why those who use sitting toilets often have a vague sensation that there is always 'still something left'.
By forcing unsuspecting users to depart from the correct toileting posture, the sitting toilet has caused much distress, pain and suffering. It is not going to end soon.
Today, the porcelain throne continues its relentless march, making huge inroads even in countries whose peoples have traditionally been squatting populations.
The impact of this trend has been tragic. Worldwide, there is a never- ending, growing epidemic of colon and pelvic-related ailments and diseases.
There is no guarantee that those who squat will not suffer from these health problems. But one thing is for sure: the habitual use of sitting toilets is a dangerous habit, one that you would do well to abandon.

On this note, I invite you to explore and check out the information on this site. It is my hope that more will discover the truth about the sitting toilet and see it for what it really is: a health threat that has been ignored for more than 150 years!

I have been doing it this way for 3 months while I was away and now I will do it for good as it makes you feel better in many ways 24/7 , plus looking at the health benefits ect, and I think the apparatus this guy sells in OP is the best option.

Sounds like bullshit to me ;-).

I've squatted plenty when I've been out in the middle of nowhere horse back and wiped with grass. It's a hell of a lot better to sit on a stool and wash off now with my home made bidet. I won't be going back to the old way.

The squatting position makes all the difference in the world. Adopted it over 15 years ago and would never consider the awkward and unnatural position again. Haven't taken a 'seating' position since the switch (and no, I never stand on the bowl). Makes for record time in the rr. I just don't get why some folks spend so much time just sitting there waiting for the process to complete, straining the whole time.

Its just a training video for your NWO. They want to get you used to the idea of sh*tting in a hole in the ground again. In the future there are no toilets, just alleys and potholes......

That looks kind of cool honestly. I've heard that squatting is more natural (and it makes more sense from an evolutionary standpoint).

People evolved squatting and shitting near rivers/streams, and splashing water against their rear to clean it.

I'm telling you that one does not need any special device to adapt the more natural position into their life, it works ANYWHERE unless one is under say 5'10" (although I can see where shorter people may have a problem as I find those tall handicap toilets a bit more of a challenge but that's never really been a issue for me). If height is a problem then one can always raise the seat and stand on the bowl rim. Throwing a few sheets of tp in beforehand eliminates the splash problem.

This is a good thing! Some folks have yet to evolve though. Go visit Liberia, I hear Monrovia has a nice beach you can squat on.

The whole point of the toilet was so that royal highnesses didn't have to squat any more. That's why Sir Crapper designed what became the average mans throne.

I don't see any usage problems with the current system.

They posture of sitting creates many health related problems , where as the squat position is the natural way to go and creates no health problems.

Prostate cancer being one......

taken from an e book.....
African Americans have the highest prostate cancer risk in the world... And despite high rates among African Americans, prostate cancer is very low in Africa.

If you test the current system with the 'field' experiments you will. Remember to have tp handy though.

Here's an easy test when sitting on the throne - lean your torso over until you're in contact with your thighs; note improved ease and speed of elimination.

I'm absolutely convinced the natural (squatting) position leads to better health.

Colitis and Crohn's Disease
The website www.crohnsresource.com (http://www.crohnsresource.com) defines Crohn's Disease as:
...a chronic and serious inflammatory disease of the gastrointestinal tract that affects more than 500,000 Americans. People with Crohn's disease may experience a number of symptoms including diarrhea, abdominal cramps and pain, fever, rectal bleeding, loss of appetite, and weight loss....The cause of Crohn's disease has not yet been discovered.
Inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) includes Crohn's Disease, ulcerative colitis and irritable bowel syndrome. IBD affects approximately 2 million Americans and can have devastating consequences. 20 to 40% of ulcerative colitis patients eventually require surgery for removal of the colon, according to the University of Maryland Medicine website. Up to 70% of patients with Crohn's disease require surgery at some point in their disease course to remove parts of the intestine.
IBD is confined to countries of the Western World, according to a study published in The Lancet.21 A 1997 article reported that "The last half of this century has seen a rising incidence of inflammatory bowel disease in developed countries," but notes "... the apparent absence of IBD in developing countries." [italics added]
For many years, researchers assumed that a different diet was protecting the developing world from IBD. "What else could it be?" They did not realize that these cultures have no uniform diet. For example, the Masai cattle-herders of central Africa are almost exclusively carnivorous. The Hindus of India are vegetarian. Other groups subsist on fish, or even on insects.
On testing their hypothesis, doctors were forced to conclude that "No special diet has been proven effective for preventing or treating this disease." (From the University of Chicago Hospitals website.)
Currently another theory has become popular among epidemiologists. They believe that fecal contamination of food and water in the developing world "naturally innoculates" children against inflammatory bowel disease. In other words, the Western World is too antiseptic to allow the immune system to produce the necessary antibodies.
This theory reflects a common misconception about the "superior hygiene" of the developed world. Westernized countries are proud of their high standards of cleanliness, but they are unaware that their internal cleanliness compares poorly with the rest of the world.
Colon hygiene depends on the effectiveness of daily elimination. Human beings were designed to perform their bodily functions in the squatting position. In order to be squeezed empty, the colon needs to be compressed by the thighs. Furthermore, the puborectalis muscle needs to be relaxed and the ileocecal valve from the small intestine needs to be closed .

i think the Africans vs american african bowel cancer correlation might be mostly down to diet, not squatting. That would be the bigger factor. As to prostate cancer, often the best path is management because the treatment can kill......faster. And protate cancer may not kill you. Something else might get there first.

crohns might be a result of immunization, however the described cause of crohns might still be correct - killing of the gut flora, just the way it happens might be down to vaccines.

Looks like if you want the benefits of squating all you have to do is put a small foot stool in front of your toilet and you're set to go as in this video.

I got one of those and have been using it a few weeks. I definitely notice a difference in speed, comfort, and cleanliness. Basically everything comes out at once and it's smooth, fast, and usually all together. I obviously don't want to be too graphic, but I do think it's an improvement and would recommend one of these things to anyone with a regular sit-down toilet.

Everybody on this forum should do a 10 day challenge.

Just get a regular foot stool you already have in the house and use it as a boost

You will be in the bathroom less then 5 minutes 3 of them you will be wondering what just happened..

I personally now do this everywhere. Even at work i can take the small trash can and prop my freet up and pretty much the exact same thing happens

The biggest convincer me was my wee one...i never paid attention but everytime she made a bowel movement she would run into a closet and SQUAT DOWN.

kids do what comes naturally until we untrain them
