Stop killing people and people will stop killing you, respect the people and the people will respect you...... act as humans instead of barbarians that were trained in the state of Israel.......if the Palestinian people had guns what is going on here would happen there.
By keeping your guns you will keep your freedom.

Law enforcement deaths double in 2014

By Rick Moran

The atmosphere of hate being ginned up against the police has resulted in double the number of deaths in 2014 compared to 2013, according to a preliminary FBI report.

Bill Johnson, executive director of the National Association of Police Organizations, says that the campaign of demonizing police has taken a toll on morale as well.

Washington Times:

“One of the things that we’ve seen just lately, that we’ve never seen before, is police officers are telling their own families, and their own children, ‘Don’t go into this line of duty, this line of work, because it’s not worth it any more,’” said Bill Johnson, executive director of the National Association of Police Organizations.

The number of law enforcement officers who were feloniously killed in the line of duty in 2014 increased 89 percent as compared to the year prior — with most dying after being shot by gun-carrying criminals, according to a preliminary report issued by the FBI on Monday.

In raw numbers, 51 law enforcement officers were killed in the line of duty in 2014, versus 27 such deaths in 2013.

The FBI report Monday was preliminary; the complete annual report will be released in the fall.

And the number killed in deliberate ambush attacks has tripled in a year, according to data collected by the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial Fund. In 2014 there were 15 officers killed in fatal ambushes compared to five in 2013, the group said.

Police unions are “very much concerned” over the increased number of attacks on officers, which seem to be planned ambushes and unprovoked attacks, Mr. Johnson said.

[...]

Last year, the death of Eric Garner, a black man who died after an officer subdued him with a chokehold, led a man to ambush and kill two other New York City cops, Rafael Ramos, 40, and Wenjian Liu, 32, in retaliation while they were sitting in their car.

Police advocates blamed that attack, and possibly others, on the resulting national debate over the use of deadly force, in which the police are routinely depicted as racists out to harass and oppress blacks and other minorities.

“While some honorable law enforcement officers are able to screen out the crowd noise and stay focused on the mission, the tragic loss of blue lives and biased anti-cop slander have certainly impacted overall morale,” said Mr. Adler. “The sustained anti-cop rhetoric has taken its toll on officer morale, but the indomitable blue spirit will ultimately stay the course and prevail.”

Is it just coincidence that ambush attacks on police have tripled over the past year? Or is it just a statistical anomoly?

Or perhaps it has something to do with barely disguised hate speech directed toward the police by racialists and others who see opportunity in the tragic deaths of suspects like Michael Brown and Eric Garner. Some activists don't even try to disguise their calls to kill policemen.

Is it any wonder that morale is at a low point and officers are advising their loved ones not to follow in their footsteps.

This situation would normally be an opportunity for the president and attorney general to stand up and speak out against violence directed at police officers. But given the fact that our current president continues to stoke the flames of racial animosity, and our current AG wants to investigate the police rather than the people who want them to be targets, we shouldn't hold our breaths for their support any time soon.

From TB2000

They are just playing the blame game. If they want to know who is causing the attacks, they should look in the mirror. Until the "bad" cops are disciplined and/or fired from the job, the number of ambushes will continue to go up. If/when they are convicted of a crime while on the job, they should also loose there pension. They operate more like a street gang now and that has to be stopped.

Double the number of deaths sounds more dramatic than the actual numbers.

According to this link (http://asirt.org/Initiatives/Informing-Road-Users/Road-Safety-Facts/Road-Crash-Statistics) over 100 people die every day in US road crashes. 51 people dying annually is hardly a blip on the radar.

You should be more concerned about officers ambushing citizens and killing them which is sparking the fire of this hatred of officers.

Let me fix that

Last year, the MURDER of Eric Garner, a FREE MAN after an officer KILLED him with a chokehold for selling his personal property without giving the state a cut, led a man to ambush two other New York City cops, Rafael Ramos, 40, and Wenjian Liu, 32, in retaliation while they were sitting in their car.

The violence will continue to escalate as you continue to play word games

This man is not interested in improving the situation. Instead he wants to blame the victims of police brutality and their anti constitutional behaviour.

It's really no wonder though. It's what people like him do best. No flies on the police. They are not the cause of their own problems.

without black crime none of this would be going on. They aren't the same species as whites, and they only respond to the boot on their neck.

I don't know. I was LE in the ghetto, and that seemed pretty dangerous. Almost had my lunch money taken many times...luck or chance was on my side.

Now, my job is as dangerous as fishing. I think we get more injuries, but thankfully small ones. I think most LE are in small towns, counties, that rarely deal with a lot of crime. That affects the numbers. I'd say LE in a tough area, most dangerous job there is. My two bits.

What's also ironic in that top 10 list is that each one of those is a PRODUCTIVE component of the economy. LEO and government in general are fucking parasites, and imagine that, didn't even make the list.

When trying to eradicate a parasite infestation, destroying them one at a time is useless. An effective protocol involves inhibiting their ability to reproduce while creating an environment they cannot thrive in.

I was on a job site once and one of the roofers was on a three-story high roof working a corner of the roof where the rake & eave meet, without a harness. He took a step backwards without looking, his foot landed in the gutter, the gutter detached but he managed to stay on the roof. He would have fallen three stories, and probably died.

Tell me about it, that's what Herr Hitler tried and failed to do.......and look now, the whole world is infected.

The data says otherwise:

I just don't really believe that data. My personal experience suggests otherwise. Technically, per data, my current job ranks about #2, up there with fishing.

It just doesn't seem as dangerous as LE in a ghetto area. There's too many close calls, little tactical fuckups, etc that make the only constant the variable.

I check Ponces profile from time to time. It says he is visiting every day or couple days. Not sure if that is accurate though.

A welfare check would be reassuring.

The reason you have a dangerous job is because the power monger create the conditions for the shit storm to begin with..

You wouldnt have a getho to patrol if the state didnt regulate out of business small local entrepanuers who would train or employ the vermin that you have close calls with.

The hostility that you work in didnt happen in a vacuum .

It was fomented.

It would be interesting to see how large the police force has grown in comparison within the last 10years, last year may have just been a fluke. Of course it isn't that dangerous, their only job is to protect criminal rackets from the rogue bystander gone ape with frustration of wanting in on the same rackets.

They're fighting a war against themselves is all, typically it doesn't get too bloody.
