Dam growing season here is royalty screwed so far, it will not quit raining or storming! Last couple of months sunny days have been rare as hen's teeth!
Start a garden here, it gets washed out into a muddy mess then do it over again and again! Looks like spring gardens will be a wash time will tell the fall ones will have any chance.
Mother nature here is having a PMS fit!

we have been having a lot of rain (victoria oz) but in new zealand they had a drought over summer , nice weather though.
those buckets would work as they wouldnt get washed out, its just an idea to think about.

The ideal is great, I have used something very similar in the past!
Other than the bad storms ether straight line winds or vacuum cleaners in the sky kicking our asses I really sorta like this weather, breaking the drought in parts of the state and filling some seriously low lakes/reservoirs.
Wettest spring time here in my memory, with record's falling!
But sucks for gardens!

Those buckets work well, and they allow tomatoes to be grown on driveways or patios. You can also move them around if they're getting too much sun or water in the current location. Also, no weeding, ever.
