Not sure where I came across this. Was either via the Rosemary's baby or the Brotherhood of the Bell or the guy who wrote about the canyon. Someone was reading out the chapters. I listened to chapter 5 on Sugar Trusts.

Anyway makes for an interesting read. Kind of memoirs by a guy called Richard Pettigrew.

He fought against the Trusts, Railway, Forrest, Sugar etc. How the corporations, through lawyers in the Congress and House of Reps fight to ensure that public wealth is locked away from the people and then how they steal it for themselves.

He laments that this stealing has been going on since time immemorial. Seems nothing changes. The reality is Government has never been for the people. Only for the corporation classes.

Long book, some 400 pages. I've only read the first few chapters so far.
