Walmart having tunnels connecting them sounds like bullshit to me. They have huge distribution centers scattered around the US. I've picked up loads around the country and hauled them to the distribution centers. When they had a lot of freight and their company drivers couldn't handle it all I'd sometimes haul loads from the distribution centers to the stores. They have a one hell of a good system for keeping the stores stocked and tunnels would be a huge waste of time and money.

If they have any they would be paid for by the government , it very well could be BS.
Lets hope it is for everyones sake but it does stack up as a good idea and closing some has set off different theories.

Though I'd add too that I've driven an eighteen wheeler down a tunnel underground to pickup a load of freight. An old limestone mine had been converted to storage and there were lots of trailers sitting around and I think it was fenced with a chain link fence and covered about eighty acres.

The tunnel idea might have some truth ... for stores within a mile of the southern border. A tunnel comes in handy sometimes.

Think there is one like that in Kentucky or in one of the surrounding states like that provides secure storage among other services!
