This is a good idea, not for earthquakes, but for flooding.

Humm?

I think this has potential and is no pun intended dirt cheap but labor intensive, the sky's the limit on possibility's. But as stated the foundation location is critical, because of the weight involved

I like the concept!

Examples..

Good insulation and very local building materials.

;)

Just ideas ect but people have to spend a fortune on a mortgage/council fees and other costs for a normal house and end up becoming a dept slave in the process.

After 4-6000 years of cultural evolution, you have to give them africans credit, for perfecting the grass hut.

Just ideas ect but people have to spend a fortune on a mortgage/council fees and other costs for a normal house and end up becoming a dept slave in the process.

This is the last known photograph of the Ancient African Bread Hut that got snacked in the early hours of the morning.
Investigators are following the trail of the suspects, but so far have only come up with crumbs.

Nothing wrong with a round house, you get a lot of volume, compared to surface area, and as such you save on heating costs, which obviously wont be a concern of yours... ;)
