On August 11, 2014, Dillon Taylor walked out of a local Salt Lake City, Utah, convenience store minding his own business. He wasn't armed. He wasn't committing a crime. He was listening to music on his headphones, probably in his own world.

Just two days after Officer Darren Wilson shot and killed an unarmed Mike Brown in Ferguson, Taylor would soon face a similar fate at the hands of a local officer. And on October 1, the district attorney in Salt Lake City, Sim Gill, ruled that the killing of 20-year-old Taylor was justified. Now that the full video has been released, it's disturbingly clear that nothing about this police shooting was justified. Nothing at all.

At 0:17, Officer Bron Cruz gets out of his vehicle. You will notice people confused by his presence.

At 0:22, Officer Cruz walks past two men who were friends with Dillon Taylor.

At 0:24, Officer Cruz walks behind Taylor, who has on a white T-shirt and is listening to music.

At 0:33, we see the officer has his gun drawn and is yelling at Taylor, who's holding his sagging pants up and does not appear to hear Cruz.

At 0:36, the officer shoots Taylor. It would be fatal.

Starting at 0:41, you will notice the headphone cord coming out of Taylor's pocket.

At 0:48, you will see that the headphones were clearly going up to Taylor's ears.

At 0:52, the officer asks Dillon to "give me your hands," but Taylor is already near death. His friends begin screaming and crying in the background.

At 1:03, the officer handcuffs Taylor.

At 1:48, the officer turns Taylor over, the headphones are visible, and the officer states "it's clear"—meaning that Taylor was actually unarmed.

At 2:54, the officer turns Taylor completely over, keeping him handcuffed, and begins talking to him and trying to get him to talk. Taylor appears nearly dead and is completely covered in blood.

At 4:56, the officer is rummaging through Taylor's pockets instead of providing any first aid.

Unlike Adam Lanza, Dillon Taylor actually had a facebook page. Was engaged to a woman he was expecting to have a child with. He had a funeral, his friends were present at his MURDER.

If you just have to have a 1911 style pistol I would suggest a STI pistol. Taurus is known for troublesome guns, and the 1911 is one design that does not do well when manufactured by a second rate company like Taurus. There's a reason why companies like Les Bauer and Wilson sell 1911s that cost $2-4k.

I used to have 1911/Government Model style pistols but I've gotten out of those and gotten into strictly Glocks.

What would be the top 3 glocks you'd recommend?

I would suggest compact Glock models such as the Glock 23 (.40 S&W) and Glock 32 (.357 Sig) - these two pistols are essentially identical except for the calibers. The subcompacts are more easily concealable while being less comfortable and the full size is just impractical for daily carry imo. While it's not possible to change calibers on the Glocks in 9mm, both the Glock 23 and the Glock 32 (as well as the other .40 and .357 Sig Glocks) are convertible to other calibers with aftermarket barrels to .40, .357 Sig, and 9mm (the same mags work for both .40 and .357 Sig however one must switch over to 9mm mags when using a 9mm barrel on a .40 or .357 Sig Glock).

Personally I prefer the Gen 3 Glocks over the Gen 4 Glocks.

The only problem with the Glocks in 9mm is that one cannot change calibers in the same pistol by simply changing barrels, with a 9mm Glock you're stuck with 9mm.

If you want the maximum energy for the package, the .357 Sig is the ticket imo, only trumped by the 10mm (which is a larger frame pistol even in the compact versions i.e. Glock 29 and 30).

Way back when, In the late 60's I dropped in at a local honky Tonk late at night.

It's not bad actually but the camera never stops filming. The last part is the bloody climax with blood pumping out his mouth like a water hose.

Didn't spoil it for me, at least, because I don't plan on watching it. He must have gotten blood into his airway somehow, lung shot?

One thing I do know, is the heart has to keep pumping for a lot of blood to leave the body. One homicide scene I worked a guy got shot several times by an AK, full auto. He was dead before he hit the ground. Major tissue damage, I was the guy who had to look closely at the body because I was writing the report. That body was so tore up, yet don't recall there being that much blood. I think I've mentally blocked out a lot of details though.

The cop that shot the guy in the video must have put a bullet through his lung. The victim appeared to have a lot of blood coming out his mouth. When he rolled him over you can see blood and bubbles coming out.

That cop is a cold blooded killer, a murderer and a psychopath and he doesn't show any emotion. I don't know how anyone could ever justify what he did. He's dangerous and should be put down like a rabid wild animal.

As for the timing of the bleed out, that was not abnormal. I have seen chickens bleed out in a nice throat cut in less than a minute. When the victim was hit with 2 rounds- one gut and one chest, I am sure that chest shot fract'd the hell out of his lungs and heart. It was not just entry/exit hole bleed outs. His windpipe was a main channel for flow as he drowned in his own blood.

One thing I've learned, is how precious and fragile life is. It really bothers me, these suicides, it always has. People taking such a gift and chucking it.
