Guy hiked the Pacific Crest trail taking a selfie every mile. Took him 5 months and the changes in his appearance are notable.

Planning on a SHTF scenario? This is the place to be.

I'm not a fan of trail segregation so I've been poaching sections of the Perfect Cycling Trail for a while now. A while equals around 15 years. Banning Pass to deep into the Mojave. I leave water at the nearest point from the house for the hikers. That and the rangers don't care since who else is going to maintain stretches of trail for free? I'll ride mountain bike specific trails, unless I have a case of the fuckits.

That was cool. He looked much younger without the beard. Something for me to think about.

That is super cool. Makes me think I need to get the fuck out of town for a while, if I'm going to recover my sanity.

it's 100-150 miles inland.

anything like that nearer the coast ?

just have to change 2 letters to do that search :)

found this, but the hiking trails on the coast are connected by ... 101

is there a section of norCal to Wash state that is maybe 200 or 500 miles continuous trail, no cars ?

i've been hiking myself, 750 feet vertical every morning over about a mile of logging roads (that's the uphill part), carrying 30 to 50 pounds of gear ... lost about 10 pounds.

interesting to see the change in the guy's appearance.

now he has to do the hike the reverse direction with all the women who are probably leaving messages on his Youtube page.

Somebody should have told him to keep his mouth closed while he took the photos; in high speed it kinda looks like he's talking or saying something.

At frame 311, he should've added photos of all the nekkid ladies that flock to the hot springs.
