Woke up at 01:30 with a upset stomac , to the kitchen for a Alka Zelser....... and what do I find?.......wall to wall slug. Cought 19 of them and out they went... Where do they came from? will they return?........from half inch to thee inches.......now I know where they get the idea for horror movies.''

Again, where did they came from and how do I get rid of them?..... tell you what, never try to get them bare handed.....the only one that I touch took me ten minutes to get rid of the sticky stuff.........uffffffffffff, now I know where they get the glue for the stamps.

put salt on 'em and watch 'em melt.

I suggest you do a web search.

I found this by googling "slugs in my house," maybe some of this info will help.

Determine where they're coming in and put down a salt barrier.

conditions must be pretty good some where near by. Not uncommon for bugs to swarm when the goins good. I'd check around your water tanks, if it butts up against a house wall. House on stilts or has a crawl space underneath.

Yup. Slugs. That happened the last time California slipped into the ocean.

Use this outside on my green beans when the little bastards want to bite the young plants off. Works great! Don't know about inside use, or what kind of pets you might have which could be harmed by eating it.

Diatomaceous earth should do the trick. Get the food grade, very cheap if you buy 10 lbs of it from Amazon. It is a white dust that insects and slugs hate to be around. Just keep it out of your eyes or the eyes of your pets.

Just keep it out of your eyes or the eyes of your pets.

I drank a heaping teaspoon of this for a couple months (food grade). This is not as drastic as it sounds. They use diatomaceous earth to filter quite a few of your liquids. Second the notion of keeping it out of the eyes but it doesn't hurt the gut, has pores that collects bugs and lets you eliminate them.

What I noticed was an improvement in tendons and joints in terms of flexibility.

This made me think, I never used to have bug problems in the garden. I used to use ironite and haven't the last few years...

Fill a bowl with beer. They'll fall in and drown.

this works well. I use a half soup can, buried to the lip, half filed with beer dregs. they will pile like no bodies business. You might want a big can.

I've used carbaryl with very good results. They make it in pellets and it's not as bad as most insecticides. Just a little bit will do it and fast, too.

Next time, turn on a light and stomp your feet, and watch where they go to get out. Then salt that spot, or leave a bowl of beer.

Yea !

Slug races !

Faster than a speeding stalagmite or stalactite growing !

;)

Ponce: Double check that you do not have any water leaks/seeps or persistent damp areas in your house , slugs just love them to setup home keeping.

Edit:

Also you can use the slime trails to tack them back to where they are getting in or coming from. Use a flashlight or what ever needed to see the shiny dried slime trail!
