Just found this...

About 1 1/8"

All I can say is the market is not saturated with this particular one. Have not found a single one just like it. How would I price something like this?

Edit, it's actually a dark blue not black.

Here's a similar one for about $45:

You could sell it on E-bay for $40 maybe or take your luck with a Pawn Shop.

Pawn shops here are stupid. I would do the ebay thing but have not seen a single one like mine. The one you found has a bunch all over the place.

The back of this pin has some union logo and words I am too old to read:

Speaking of pawn shops, coin joints and the we buy gold places... I have a 1940s 14K gold diamond ring with an appx .26K European cut diamond which in itself is very unique because the bottom is not cut flat, I have had offers of $75.00 - $125.00 (scrap gold price, diamond is worthless). Any real jewelers tell me in the shitty condition that it is in is worth $900-1100 as is, anything less is an effort to rip me off. Jewelers dont buy old stuff and the other places want to rip me off.

I'll post soon as I can get some decent non blurry pics. Very interesting diamond, haven't seen anything quite like it.
