time to realize how much the world is screwed up... is this all what the prolifers can do to praise the value of life: blackmailing the masses.... kinda speechless, this is soooo sick. Prolifers have lost their battle, that's for sure.

(NaturalNews) In a time of reality shows and endless attempts to out-outrage people, now we have a new twist and, a new low: abortion extortion.
According to a report by Headline News, a 26-year-old woman who says she is seven weeks pregnant is threatening to abort her unborn child unless she is paid $1 million to "save" it.
Beginning July 7, individuals will have 72 hours to come up with the money, presumably via crowdfunding, according to her ProlifeAntiwoman.com website, where she posted her threat.
"I am a twenty-six-year-old female and I am currently 7 weeks pregnant. I have every intention of having an abortion, but I'm giving you a chance to stop it," she wrote.
"I'm enrolled in a graduate program in a state that very recently passed extremely restrictive abortion laws that impose unnecessary waiting time to get an abortion and attempt to enforce rules that bypass the doctor/patient privacy privilege. I now feel more comfortable traveling to my home state to get an abortion than I do trying to get one here," she continued.
If she is unable to raise the $1 million, the woman says she will go through with an abortion she already has scheduled for July 10.
'It's not MY fault I'm pregnant'
She also noted that she would not keep any of the money, as if that somehow excuses her outrageous demand. If her goal is met, she says she will "have the baby, give it up for adoption and every cent of that one million dollars will be put in a trust fund for the child, which he or she will have access to when they turn 21."
What is the deal with the 72 hours? Well, she explains, that is the amount of time that the state where she resides as a student requires a woman to wait to have an abortion after a doctor consultation. Those states that have approved three-day waiting periods are Missouri, South Dakota, Utah and, most recently, North Carolina.
In her online message, the woman vilifies America as somehow being anti-woman.
"The backward direction this country is headed in terms of its treatment of women I feel is due in large part to the influence of the religious right disguised as the pro-life movement," she complained. "The pro-life movement cares very little about saving lives and far more about controlling women by minimizing their choices in a wide variety of ways not the least of which is readily available reproductive health care."
As for reaching her goal, she claims: "Mathematically this means that every one of the 157 million Americans that identify as pro-life needs to donate less than one cent to stop this abortion."
So in other words, if she doesn't raise the funds, then of course it won't be her fault; it will be the fault of the pro-life movement, who will likely also be blamed for her choice to become pregnant in the first place; the pro-life movement made her have unprotected sex.
Since the U.S. Supreme Court, in one fell swoop, nullified abortion bans in all 50 states in its infamous Roe v. Wade decision in 1973, the country has remained divided on the issue.
