United Airlines and the NYSE
What's going on?

I'd like to see the whole computer system go down for a week, as a wake up call to everyone that relies so heavily on digital.
I would imagine a lot of cash would come out of the banks, the second they came back online.
People need a wake up call.

Now you're talking about something completely different, something I already comprehend the meaning of, it's the very first time the word 'glitch' has been used in this thread.

Now would you kindly define 'clich' and 'glich' for me? TIA

Dialects ! LoL!

The whys of his use of the words escape me other than maybe humor and misspelling or what I favor is writing in the local dialect of the hinglish language!

I am currently being affected by the first glitch, as I finished my second Breckenridge Avalanche. I should be landing now, but instead I'm looking at 9-10 o'clock tonight.

At least you weren't in the air when this happened or you could have been in a permanent time/space continuum.

That would have been a real bummer.

SKYNET has become self-aware.

Time to scorch the atmosphere.

http://p1.pichost.me/i/54/1775354.jpgDo you guys recognize this type of continental aircraft? I just saw one take off from Denver to Chicago as a United flight.

If you posted a picture that also is in a time space continuum.

If you posted a picture that also is in a time space continuum. it is really difficult on an iPhone. The plane I saw was a 737, and apparently had a Wi-Fi antenna or marking on it as someone noted. I just wonder where they dredge the plane out of. UA1159

Just talked to a pilot. It was a 75th anniversary continental plane. Apparently continental crews are still running continental planes and vice versa for United.

Two? You're omitting the computer problems at the Wall Street Journal today.

Exchange, Wall Street Journal, and United Airlines all downed by technical glitches (http://www.salon.com/2015/07/08/bizarre_new_york_stock_exchange_wall_street_journa l_and_united_airlines_downed_by_technical_glitches/)

BTW, a "glitch" typically refers to a nuisance technical problem, not major systemic failures like these.

Description of ongoing glitches.

China to US. "We want what you owe us now, please."
US to China. "We don't speakee Chinee."
China to US. "Give us what you owe, you round eye devils, or we shoot down your airplanes."
US to China. "There seems to be a few glitches in communications."

Ticker forum was claiming that the St. Louis Fed was the target.

I would think either Monsanto, the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency - Wikipedia, the ... (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/National_Geospatial-Intelligence_Agency), or Edward Jones (https://www.edwardjones.com/en_US/company/headquarters/index.html) would be better targets.
