BREAKING: U.S. House Votes to BAN Confederate Flag in These Locations Across America
In what can only be described as absolute capitulation to the whims of the perpetually offended politically correct crowd, the U.S. House of Representatives just passed an amendment to ban the display of the Confederate flag at all federal cemeteries.

The amendment, added to the 2016 Interior Department budget bill (http://conservativetribune.com/house-gop-defunds-agenda/), was introduced by California Democrat Jared Huffman and passed by a voice vote after only two minutes of discussion on the floor of the House, in which the amendment received no opposition.

This measure ended a policy that was put in place in 2010 that allowed for cemeteries under the jurisdiction of the National Park Service (http://conservativetribune.com/feds-move-confederate-flag/) to temporarily display small Confederate flags on the graves of Confederate veterans on specified memorial days.

While that policy allowed the flags to be displayed temporarily, it went on to demand the flags be removed “as soon as possible” after the Confederate Memorial Day observance had concluded.

“We can honor that history without celebrating the Confederate flag and all of the dreadful things that it symbolizes,” Rep. Huffman said.

According to The Hill (http://thehill.com/blogs/floor-action/house/247171-house-votes-to-ban-confederate-flags-at-federal-cemeteries), this amendment joined another introduced by Huffman and passed by the House that would prohibit the sale of items bearing the Confederate flag in National Park Service gift shops.

Those two amendments to the Interior Department’s budget bill in turn join a third targeting the Confederate flag, introduced by New York Rep. Hakeem Jeffries, that would ban the purchase or display of Confederate flags at any National Park except for the sole purpose of providing historical context.

This is just further evidence of the spineless nature (http://conservativetribune.com/carson-kick-out-congress/) of the Republican leadership in Congress and the cowed nature of Republicans in general, who essentially stood idly by while Democrats moved to erase and rewrite our nation’s history.

Please share this on Facebook and Twitter as an example of how ridiculously absurd the war against the Confederate flag has become.

Then ban the American flag too, it used to symbolize racism and slavery too.

Huffman "doesn't know" his religion.

Huffman’s office, meanwhile, pointed HuffPost to an interview with comedian Stephen Colbert on “The Colbert Report.” In it, Colbert noted that Huffman’s religion is listed as “unspecified” and pressed him to figure out exactly what that meant.

“Are you an atheist?” Colbert asked.

“I don’t know,” Huffman replied.

“Agnostic then?”

“Perhaps,” Huffman said.

We may deduce from his name, his refusal to answer, and especially his anti-American actions that he is a Jew.

Anti-White racism and slavery.

I agree with you. However, I was referring to the black racism and black slavery which predated the civil war, which Lincoln defended and supported his whole life. They want to ban the Confederate flag because it is commonly believed nowadays that this flag represents racism and slavery against blacks, when the American flag did (and still does) the same thing!!!

Not even pretending to be "land of the free" anymore. That's fine... I've always thought tyranny should be honest with itself, and everyone it affects.

There are no free places.

There are only freedom minded people. The United States has the highest concentrations of those of anywhere, and the most guns.

How many people on this forum are from outside the United States? Ever think about that?
