Is our universe FAKE?

I have been thinking of this for at least 15 years... as above so below is a cosmic axiom. as much as I am against tranhumanism, I have to admit that the virtual reality created at our own level will lead to this very possibility.

just like a simulation in a simulation.. in a simulation and so on. reality is truly "abuse your illusions/perceptions"... and it has proven many times that it is correct.

Physicists say there is a possibility that our world is merely a simulation
They claim there may be evidence of this if only we know where to look

The earth is on a flat plane? The Antarctic surrounds us? The North pole is in the middle?

Interesting thing listening to flat earthers is the discussions about what so many things are based on. Size of the sun and the moon. How far away they are and how was this determined. According to them a base assumption was used to work out theses things and everything else, age of universe, speed of planets and suns and solar systems and galaxies are all based on this calculation method that has, at it's root, an assumed variable.

We are begining to realise we don't know what we know but we certainly made some guesses.

If the world turned out not to be a globe than we can start over with the whole "what is it?" question.

I think the earth is more like a lava lamp. Doesn't really keep the flat surface but if you do enough psychotropics it possibly could be real.
