Drinking water after waking up is a popular ritual in Japan. Scientists agree that this method is very helpful for our health. It has been discovered that drinkable water is very successful in curing numerous diseases including: Epilepsy, bronchitis asthma, diarrhea, vomiting, kidney disease, diabetes, menstrual disorders, meningitis, arthritis, headache, cardiac arrhythmia, every eye disease and obesity.
Drink 4×160 ml of water right after you wake up, even before you wash your teeth.
After drinking water, you can wash your teeth, but do not eat anything for 45 minutes.
After 45 minutes, eat normally.
Do not drink or eat anything 2 hours after breakfast, lunch and dinner.
The ones who cannot drink 4 glasses of water due to disease or old age can increase the amount, gradually, day by day.
People who practice this routine can cure the abovementioned diseases and enjoy a healthy life.
This is a daily routine which must be practiced if you want to cure certain diseases:
Stomach-10 days
High blood pressure-30 days
Constipation- 10 days
Diabetes-30 days
Arthritis patients should practice this treatment for only 3 days the first week, and then continue every day from the next week. This method has no counter indications; however, at the beginning of the treatment you may urinate more often. It is also positive to continue practicing this procedure as a part of daily routine. All in all, drink water and continue to be active and healthy.

not sure what to make of their "4x160 ml" wording, rather than 560 ml, or a little over 0.5 liter?
also they make it sound like brushing teeth is best done in the morning, apparently before b'fast? I'd say before bed is best... dentists would say after every meal... but I figure even most dentists don't follow that advice!

Looks like the same list of ailments the Asian massage place near my work claims to be able to help.
Water is probably cheaper, but massage so much more fun, wouldn't you say?

Your digestive track is constantly being screwed by all the crap you're eating, so fasting gives it a chance to heal.

One of my coworkers got me started on something like this, except squeezing half a lemon into the water as well. He said after 10 days you will notice a difference in your health.

I have been fasting since 20011..... My achey joints all gone, I can breath when doing exercise ( previous I could not ride a bike one mile with out being so out of breath) First fast was 8 days and I had my whole torso filled with detox bumps for a month after, my last fast was 7 days and I had no detox bumps. I try to fast every 3 to 4 months and do at least 7 days. I drink water and take my healing clay, and sometimes I eat real salt. Especially if I need to do a master cleanse. My longest fast was 20 days..... It was awesome! I feel so good fasting NOTHING hurts! My loving man did a 4 day fast and the cyst that was on his wrist completely went away... the doctor had wanted to do surgery on it. When you fast, your body will eat the sick diseased tissue first, then it goes after fat, then muscle, but you have to fast for a long time to get it to get the muscle. Like Shami said, when you fast , your digestive tract spends its energy on healing instead of digesting the crap that you are eating. When I fast, I am usually hungry thru day 3 but after that the hunger pains go way... Its a MIND OVER MATTER Thing! Keep telling yourself you can do it and you can!

I've also done something similar for the past 30 years,
640ml passed thru some ground up coffee beans and added a squeeze of cream and sugar. :)

Hehe, I do that too, without the cream and sugar. That comes after pounding the big glass of lemon water now.

now I can't edit my dumb math error in reply 3! :(
re coffee, I do it with about 3:1 coffee:whole milk... sort of a cafe au lait ;)
now here's the kicker: throw in a pat of unsalted real butter! About as much as you'd butter 1 piece of toast with. Before I started that about 1.5 year ago, I'd have 2 pint size cafe au laits through the morning. With the butter, I don't feel like a 2nd cup; and early on in my butter learning curve, I found if I did have a 2nd cup anyways (was still a ritual/habit!), I was jumpy with too much caffeine buzz. I heard it has something to do with the coffee binding with the butter fat and making it more time-release or something; I don't fully understand.
coffee enema is supposed to be good :o

now I'm going to have to put butter in my 2 pint size coffee at 3pm...
that way I should be able to skip that one I feel like having at 5pm.

Horn, you should take all that coffee you are drinking, and shove it up your ass.
Try a coffee enema! Take one for the team...let us know how it works.
http://www.mindbodygreen.com/0-7065/10-reasons-why-you-should-try-a-coffee-enema.html
For many years I suffered from systemic candida, and didn't get results with conventional medicine.
In fact, I became more unwell thanks to endless rounds of synthetic drugs that were being prescribed to me.
I decided to take my health into my own hands, and began my holistic journey of getting back to health.
Along the way I discovered the powerful benefits of coffee enemas in helping rid the body of Candida. (Oh, and eating a sugar free, raw organic plant based-diet also helps!)
Candida loves to hang out with the liver, and that by doing coffee enema’s regularly, they will help flush out the candida along with nasty toxins from the liver. So I tried it. And I started to get great results.
Enemas have been around since the dawn of time and have even been recorded in biblical scripts.
There are numerous studies done on the detoxifying benefits of coffee enema’s, and are a key part in treating cancer patients naturally at The Gerson Institute. They are making a come back as people are starting to see the health benefits of including enemas into their daily routines.
Coffee enemas are powerful detoxifiers, due to some amazing compounds within the coffee that stimulate the liver to produce Glutathione S transferase, a chemical which is known to be the master detoxifier in our bodies. (Plus, getting your coffee this way means you're less likely to get addicted to caffeine!)

U gotta mix the butter with at/near boiling water, assuming butter is cold. I use a little "french press" for coffee, looks like 10-12 ozs (coke can). I pour a little dash of boiling water on the (cold) butter in the coffee cup, the rest of the water into the french press with coffee grounds where they co-mingle for ~3 minutes, then pour coffee into cup with already melted butter. Big dollop of cold milk; and cafe au lait is a nice drinking temp. :)
I drink about 2 liters of water a day; about 1/4 of that as delivery vessel for coffee. Another cup or so as base for hot/drinkable b'fast cereal... to which I also add butter & dollop of milk. 1-2 hard boiled eggs, & some fresh fruit = nice b'fast. :)

My ass too! :D I know we discussed asia's standard/expected bum-gun, AKA ass-blaster, in a old thread.
Depending on the relative timing of my last shower; I can drop a deuce, and leave the toilet with my stink hole being the most stinkless part of me!

I start the day with a pint of water with one lemon squeezed in and a cap full of ACV from the gallon jug. The rest of the pints throughout the day are preceded by first desolving a teaspoon of grey or pink sea salt in my mouth.

With few exceptions, I don't eat breakfast, and I always start my day with 16 oz of water. I have been taking this supplement called "Mega Hydrate" with my morning water for a couple months now, and I feel slightly more hydrated than I did before. I thought I'd be feeling it more than I have though.

The way I measured it is one wine bottle measures 750ml and so 640ml was a few inches from the top.
Grew up with pints and quarts and at about the age of 10 we changed to metric.
Now find it hard to understand pints and quarts.......
A friend of mine can tell if a person is dehydrated by looking at their face..............too many lines basically or the face appears shrunken a bit denoteds dehydration , where as hydrated face shows few lines and is more puffy.

I know metric is logical,
But being imperial/whatever and deeply raised in two 1/64 = 1/32 x 2 =1/16 and so into infinity.... With the dam headaches that go with it. ;)
Is a holy dam bitch ! ;)
Tho I can hand it to metric, your tool box does not need all the dam fractional inch sockets and wrenches that we do !....Hoot!
Cheaper !
Lmao
There is a very deeper meaning and lesson here I think, most metric peoples are more easy going and tend twords a more socialist gov maybe?
Where fractional measurement types are more .....fractional in what they hold what a gov should be..
We can blame it on the metric system...
LMFAO !
Tho I wonder if there is a fundamental truth in my view point?

Dam it I payed for that last drop !
Its mine !
Drives fugal people to distraction..
Almost !
Why do you think bottles or containers are turned upside down when stored when almost empty?
Waste not , want not !
Bedsides we want that last frigging drop out of the container !
