Trump calls on CNN to donate debate money to veterans
By Neetzan Zimmerman
Donald Trump is putting his mouth where CNN’s money is, demanding that all profits from the broadcast of next week’s GOP debate go to veterans.
Following news that CNN has been capitalizing on Trump-mania by raising ad prices for the Sept. 16 debate to 40 times their normal rate, the GOP front-runner sent a letter to the news network’s president, Jeff Zucker, to insist that he share the wealth.
“While I refuse to brag,” Trump writes, “this tremendous increase in viewer interest and advertising is due 100% to ‘Donald J. Trump.’ ”

Given the record-setting audience for the first GOP debate on Fox News, Trump says it stands to reason that CNN’s audience “will be even larger.”
“I believe that all profits from this broadcast should go to various VETERANS groups, a list of which I will send to you in the near future,” Trump tells Zucker in the letter.
“The veterans of our country, our finest people, have been treated horribly by our government and its ‘all talk and no action’ politicians,” Trump continues. “In fact some would say they are treated like third class citizens—even worse, in many cases, than illegal immigrants.”
“It is about time that someone comes to their aid,” Trump concludes. "Let’s start now!”
Zucker and CNN have yet to respond to Trump’s request.

Isn't that the whole point of Israel using the US goy to fight its wars? So they don't have to use their own resources? Sort of defeats the purpose if you start throwing money at a resource that was supposed to be expendable.

Fat chance of that happening. Those on the left only want to donate YOUR money, not their own.

You have to give it to the Donald, he is a stellar politician. And I don't mean that as a compliment, but he knows this will score him even more points with the masses.

I remember back in the 60's during the cold war and the "winning of hearts and minds" of other nations was a active proxy war between the ussr and the usa was very real. India was pro ussr and anti american, crap going on in south america along with some minor inter-country wars along with some more heated in Africa, because at the time most of that country was leaning communist or in no way true democracy's.
All in the name of fighting Communism, which our bloody fight in Vietnam was the one that American troops were involved after korea.
In the middle east and Africa, which Ponce can chime in on Africa when it comes to proxy wars.
There was a huge amount of attention directed at the middle east, all those country's were being wooed by Russia and the communist political way and were being suppled arms and "advisors" . Mostly because of the oil fields in those country's and American oil company's involved. Egypt was huge when it came to being a near direct proxy of the ussr, the nasser dam on the nile river is a good example and at the time it was the big duck in the tiny pond.
God help us if the USSR proxy country's controlled the worlds oil supply.
At the time in the 60's which was one hell of a lot different now, most in this country (here) were fully bought into the belief of the fight of freedom vs communism.
Entire country's had debts forgiven in south america and Africa if at one time they were leaning towards communism and decided to abandon it.
Israel was the only country in the middle east that did not buy into the communist temptations all of the other ones did!
All of them !
And all suppled with weapons from Russia.
Remember this deep in the heart of the cold war days, most people here could care less about jews and most viewed them as the peoples that killed jesus, one of their own that rocked the boat in his time because he had a larger message. (Said by one raised deep in the baptist bible belt)
But because of the cold war, "an enemy of my enemy is my friend" did and to this day apples we supported Israel in a big way with weapons and cash, to fight on our side in the proxy war that was being fought all around the world.
They gave the usa/nato its only foot hold in the middle east.
It was only later that the dam political crap started to the point that now it is almost a political politicians "religion" to express the I love Israel and by this time it seems to embrace it along with most of the country.
My memory may be faulty, but I think not when I comes to how Israel got a foot hold into American politics and expanded.
So far as Trump donating to vets, Good for him as long as he makes sure of his minions making sure the money goes to organizations that really help real vets and not the sham charity's that enrich them selfs and not vets. Say $100 donated $99 goes to the origination lifestyles and $1 if lucky goes to a real vet.
Many like that are out there playing on sympathy for vets but are predictors using vets to make their livings and are living off vets backs.
To add so some here does not mistake me,
I for dam sure do not care or like what those dam people are doing to the Palestinians in any way.
What I posted is trying to recall how we (usa) got into the mess called Israel back in the day.
For the right and also for the very wrong using hindsight that some old enough here have.

So the rest of these fucksticks have handlers writing policy, speeches, etc... but not this guy?
When you have the backing of the political establishment, you have some seriously talented propaganda people helping you along.

They're all tards, but Hillary has people writing her jokes about liking snapchat because it automatically deletes messages, and then you have Mr. Cruz who has his people make him a youtube video cooking bacon with a machine gun. Then you have the Donald standing up for the poor poor veterans. Who gets the most points across mainland America?

What are you guys saying...it's a bad thing for Trump to blackmail CNN into sharing the enormous profits with the vets, that they'll make off of him?
I think it's brilliant! When has a candidate ever done this before...try never.

The more this goes on the more interesting it gets. The establishment can't allow him in if they can't control him, we all know this. But, they can't shut him out or up, they are afraid of him in the same sentence. I love the shake up, this is the best thing since the RP's influx. Or sliced bread for that matter.

Oh he's much more than that, he's a salesman par excellence.
Betcha dollars to donuts he has several 'Donald J. Trump' D&B listings just like the business name 'Barack Hussein Obama' has several D&B listings.
