Most states have some nice scenery to take in. NC has it too.

Nice. I've heard of the Dragons Tail before. Probably watched a few people cruise it on YT. I watch quite a few riding videos on YT. Weather is warming up here. Hope to get my mcycle license sorted out before the EoY.

I've spied an interesting bike coming up at auction. It is damaged so it would be a project bike. If the price is right I might bid for it. Looks like superficial damage, nothing structural. Needs a new tank but a common modification for this bike is to swap out the tank with one from another model bike in the range. Other things are indicators busted off, a few grazes. I need to get a closer look at some things and maybe take a straight edge. I could not ride this one for the 1st year of license so no rush for getting it done.

Does the state put you on training wheels for the first year or something?

Coming out of the Home Depot, I stopped to look at a guys Russian made 2009 Ural yesterday. Pretty cool looking ride, 30's retro. 750cc engine.

Best of luck for you getting up and running!

cool. I think I passed one of these last weekend when I was driving up in the hills.

I thought the URAl was one of those large tired off road bikes. These look cool.

I guess these bikes do pretty well off-road/rough road riding.

Rokon was the one I was thinking of.
