A Possible Result of the Race Crisis in the USA (2001) Scenario 1 (whites' acceptance of a non-white America) is the most probable future because it is already the officially enforced and unquestioned orthodoxy of the nation. Despite talk-show skirmishing over minor degrees of social spending, taxes and racial policy, the Republican party today is a carbon copy of the Democratic party. Both fully endorse the core concept of racial integration along with the big-government welfare state to support it. No Republican or Democrat dares question this now-established doctrine. Both alike condemn as "racist" any white resistance to this four-decade-old dogma. Liberal Democrats have always championed non-white immigration to broaden their base; Republicans now copy-cat the same tactics (candidate G.W. Bush blatantly courting the Hispanic vote). Politicians have long since ceased being constitutional statesmen; they cling ever to their own foremost priority, re-election by any means including non-white voting blocs — no matter the long-range consequences for their country. Euro-white Apathy
Strangely, or eerily, Euro-whites don't resist this sure path to their own racial extinction, accepting it meekly without a whimper. Indeed, many champion the racial integration policies which guarantee their own demise. Why such apathy when facing one's own racial suicide? First of all, such a fate seems remote, abstract, affecting only unborn far-future grandchildren. Secondly, massive white-flight still protects their own all-white suburban lives and cultural identity. A head-in-the-sand blot-out of remote futures is safe insulation from far-away consequences. Secluded in all-white suburbia for the present, whites can bask in self-righteous atonement for long-ago slavery and noble advocacy of non-white advances — but at a comfortable (or hypocritical) distance. Third is the daily media propaganda of white evil. Naively buying into misinformation and shamed as "oppressors," whites atone with self-sacrificing "Christian" altruism, voting with kind heart and altruistic sentimentality for every non-white agenda (immigration, minority rights, welfare, integration). Historians of the future will dub it the "great white folly" of the 21st century.
In one word, "altruism" is the Euro-white "Achilles heel" — its fatal "hamartia." (8 (http://www.ourcivilisation.com/usa/note/008.htm)) The warm heart blinds the cool head. America's original "age of reason" slides into our new " age of sentimentality (http://www.ourcivilisation.com/signs/chap9.htm)". Among the contributing factors are a soft "feminizing" of America, wild excesses of new "constitutional rights" and high-tech media indoctrination. For a half-century people have been absorbing their information from daily floods of sensation-rich TV images and slogans instead of books and in-depth thought. Feeling and emotion overpower intellect and thinking. In an image-mad media world, logic is smothered, slogans replace substance. The ironic result: whites, only 8% of the world's population — and shrinking, let their altruism run wild in helping non-white races overwhelm their own everywhere. The apathy of many Euro-whites is merely daily rat-race busyness, too busy with demanding careers, earning a livelihood and paying unprecedented taxes to the welfare state. No time to analyze America's suicidal racial transformation. And nightly TV, with its constant racial-diversity propaganda, lulls them into comfortable acquiescence.
A final reason for white apathy: appeasement to angry non-white activists seems a slight price for peace and security. Many remember and fear the enraged race rioting of blacks in the 1960s, burning entire areas of major cities including the downtown heart of the U.S. capital. And, recently, a black activist to a non-white crowd with open arrogance: "Remember, soon there'll be more of us than them;" and California Hispanic leader Mario Obledo: "California will be a Hispanic state, anyone who doesn't like it should leave;" and, at the university brainwashing level, Harvard lecturer and white-liberal Noel Ignatiev widely urging (as in Insight, November 1999) the need to "abolish the white race by any means necessary."
Although Euro-whites are still America's majority race in the year 2000 and could reverse the suicidal trend if they chose to (see Scenarios 2, 3 and 4 below), they probably won't. Or wake up from apathy to their altruistic blunder much too late. By mid-century, two generations of Euro-white young will be fully indoctrinated into Government centralized power and racial dogma. If Euro-whites fail to awaken in time to change the nation's course, the following details of Scenario 1 are logical and readily anticipated projections deep into the next century.
"Big Brother" and Compassionate Martial Law
Well before 2050 the gradual reinterpretation and deconstruction of the Constitution will be completed, totally opposite its original meaning and principles. Centralized Government power and cultural Marxism will be firmly in control of every state, community and individual in America.(2 (http://www.ourcivilisation.com/usa/note/002.htm)) Court rulings and presidential Executive Orders (EOs), already in 2000 authorizing martial law in Government-defined emergencies, will proliferate into a police-state web. The crime waves, school shootings, terrorist bombings, racial tensions and drug trafficking, rampant in the 1990s, provide the pretence for accelerated Government police operations — and the usual tax hikes to finance them. For efficient law enforcement and its central coordination, the U.S. armed services will expand to control, then later replace, civilian police nationwide. This de facto repeal of the Posse Comitatus Act of 1878 (amplifying the 4th Amendment to protect citizens from federal armed might) began in the late 1980s, then accelerated by presidential EOs into a U.S. "protective" police state.(9 (http://www.ourcivilisation.com/usa/note/009.htm))
Federal data bases, especially at the IRS (Internal Revenue Service), FBI (Federal Bureau of Investigation) and CIA (Central Intelligence Agency), will record every detail of private lives, all subject to Government scrutiny as federal protection of the people requires. Federal agents, powered with high-technology electronics and satellites, will routinely monitor e-mail and Web sites, search homes and businesses for evidence of criminal or seditious activity (as defined by Government), especially computer hard disks. The "Human Genome" project, completed in early century, soon fills government files with the complete genetic DNA code of all citizens, linked to their social security numbers, IRS and FBI files. Encryption in all private communication is outlawed. Tiny video cameras monitor everyone in offices, factories, agencies and targeted private homes suspected of criminal or seditious activity. As dramatized in the Orwellian world of 1984, suspects include everybody.
The creepy feeling of being watched fades into an accepted way of life. The evolution of the nation into benign statism is so gradual, by so small and seemingly do-good increments, that it's scarcely noticed. People slowly "get used to" the harmless trade-off of personal freedoms for universal Government security and protection. Few even recognize the radical transformation unfolding; then everyone is inadvertently a part of it. In this crawling and novel form of statism, chipping away slowly at liberties (best termed "totalitarian democracy" as voters support a "Big Brother" saviour), early group-think mind-training of the young in Government schools embeds a trusting love for the all-caring, paternalistic "Uncle Sam, protector of the people."(10 (http://www.ourcivilisation.com/usa/note/010.htm))
With private ownership of firearms long ago outlawed and prompt prosecution of "enemies of the state" routine, crime rates will decrease sharply as will all other dangerous behaviour, especially political dissent. Government-controlled media and propaganda in schools condition the public to accept regimentation as protection against crime and sedition.
But Government never ignores the need of people, even if not truly free, to at least feel free. Thus superficial but satisfying illusions of freedom and choice satiate this need in well-stocked malls, food stores, welfare perks and non-stop escapist entertainment, especially high-hyped TV sports specials and musical extravaganzas. Even long-entrenched sexual freedoms since the 1990s are tolerated in a wide variety of "alternative lifestyles" (a citizen's preoccupation with his pornography, fetishes or a "gay" marriage is no threat to core Government doctrine and a convenient distraction from its central goals).However, genuine and core freedoms, such as political dissent, can not be tolerated. All such are incompatible with a safe and stable nation — and are ended. Especially freedom of speech.
Freedom of Speech Muted
"Hate-crime" laws of the 1990s expand into "hate-speech" laws punishing all "politically incorrect" criticism of core Government policies, especially its civil-rights and racial-integration dogmas. "Racist," defined by federal laws, broadens to include any reference to "white rights" of any sort or resistance to anti-discrimination norms (for example, a white father discouraging white-black dating is instantly a racist suspect; so is his daughter for declining the date). The many traditional groups of the 1990s, arguing for fair pro-white solutions such as peaceable separation of the races, will be harshly equated with "white supremacists" and similarly criminalized. The more vocal and leading dissidents will be assigned by Government doctors to psychiatric wards for rehabilitation as "mental health victims" (a benign version of the former USSR's Gulag). Any talking or speech perceived by Government as "racist," even in one's own home, is outlawed. Freedom of speech and thought will disappear into a public atmosphere more sophisticated but identical in effect to the 17th-century Salem witch hunts when fear of prohibited words or associations silenced everyone into doctrinal uniformity. No one dared speak up to defend an accused witch (fearful of being branded a witch himself). In 21st-century America, no one will defend anyone branded a "racist" for fear he will be so branded himself and lose his career — or worse. School children will routinely be coaxed in "patriotism" sessions to report any "un-American" talk heard at home (children in Salem often indicted their own parents by merely and grimly pointing at them). In a labyrinthine web of surveillance and intimidation, countless civil-rights compliance units will monitor all citizens and organizations to detect and purge any political deviance.
Government as Parent and Teacher
Early in the next century most parents and adults, male and female, will be fulltime in the workforce. This becomes Government policy aimed at national economic strength, enhanced tax revenue and generously subsidized prosperity for citizens. A nationwide federal system of day-care centers and K-12 schools fills the parenting void, training the young in "political correctness" and the skills needed for the economy. Behavior-modification methods and mental-health screening, initiated in the 1990s, insure orthodox thinking.(12 (http://www.ourcivilisation.com/usa/note/012.htm)) Homeschooling, soaring exponentially about 2005, is banned as disguised teaching of early-age discrimination, meritocracy and racial inequality. Private schools disappear except for a select few Government-approved and closely monitored.
The original right to equal opportunity for academic or economic success and social status is converted into the right to actual egalitarian outcome (equality of results, all citizens provided equal standards of living in a non-discriminating society). Government civil-rights policy continues to be reinforced lifelong by mandatory diversity and sensitivity training courses in all work places.
Many Hues of Brown
The most drastic transformation of America in Scenario 1 is its population. By century's end, America will be a non-white nation, Euro-whites relatively few — or none.
America in the 1950s was 90% Euro-white. Demographic experts agree on the following projections and future look of America. In 2025 62% will be Euro-white, 38% non-white. Of non-whites, Hispanics (18% of the U.S.) with high immigration and birth rates will outpace blacks (13%) and Asians (6%). By 2050 whites will fade to about 50% of the population. By subtle indoctrination (such as black-boy-white-girl intimacies increasingly woven into TV sit-coms and constant commercials), interracial marriage and partnerships will become the norm. Whites discard the age-old natural instinct to marry within one's own race and the desire to have children that look like themselves. Most children will be neither black nor white but, as in Brazil, hundreds of shades of brown. Commenting on the mishmash of languages and third-world cultures in the border states, Rep. Reyes (D-Tex) says "if people want to see what the country is eventually going to look like, they should come to the border." Even today, throughout mainstream America, a common sight in stores and malls is white mothers with their brown children; in 1999 10% of blacks are married to non-blacks; 30% of Hispanics and Asians marry outside their race or ethnic group. As every non-white marriage to a white produces brown and genetically altered offspring, the Euro-white gene pool will disappear in America. It will vanish worldwide as well. Today, whites are only 8% of Earth's population, non-whites an overwhelming 92%. The Roman Wall
I was born in England, in the city of Newcastle-upon-Tyne, which is proud of its long history that can easily be traced back to the period of ancient Rome's occupation of Britain. There are many vestiges of the occupation but the most famous remains are those of Hadrian's Wall. This was a stone wall extending from the east coast to the west coast of England, built to protect the Roman occupied country south of the wall from raids by northern barbarians, or so I was taught. I have never questioned this explanation until recent events have caused me to consider another purpose for Hadrian's Wall.
Barrier Only To Unarmed Invaders
The Roman wall would never have stopped an attacking army, unless it was manned along its whole length. But to garrison the wall in such a fashion would be to undermine the ability of the Roman army to confront a barbarian host, who would invariably outnumber them. Dispersing its soldiers along an 80 mile front could not, and was not meant to, repel a mass attack, but to overcome a problem that Western Civilisation is now facing. It was erected to stop the steady stream of migrants from the barbarian ruled areas entering the Roman Empire. And this was done because even though the barbarians entered the Empire peacefully, they did not come to help the Roman Empire, but to exploit it. They did not want to become citizens of Rome but to retain their own culture within the Roman community, which made them a liability to the Roman Empire.
Declining Culture Vulnerable To Parasites
The impact of the intrusion of an alien culture upon a failing culture is similar to a parasitic attack suffered by any failing creature. Though the citizens of a declining community are slowly losing their attachments to their own community, they still feel some sense of obligation towards it. It is their community, full of their own kind, which is their tribe, so regardless of their growing indifference to their society's tradition, they still feel a concern for its welfare. Whereas migrants from alien cultures have no such concerns; they are among strangers with a different culture. These invaders have not come to improve their host's society, but their own, at the expense of their host. Hence such invading minority communities are parasites (http://www.ourcivilisation.com/usa/racewar.htm) upon their host community.
Parasitic Nature Of Invaders Initially Masked
Initially, while the invaders are present only in small numbers, they will treat their host with care and respect. The contempt they must feel about their host's culture will be dissembled, along with their intention to exploit the wealth of their host while avoiding any demands the host may place upon them. They will naturally subscribe to those laws of the host that carry the real threat of penalty or offer profit, but only because of convenience, and not for respect for the notions underpinning those laws; while all other laws of the host community will be silently treated with contempt except in those rare instances where they match their own culture.
Incompatible Nature Of Invaders Will Eventually Be Revealed
As the invaders numbers grow so will their confidence and their own culture will start to publicly assert itself. The invader's general contempt for the culture of their host will become evident (http://www.ourcivilisation.com/decline/example/rampage.htm) and will generate resentment between the different cultures, but while this may fester and flare from time to time, the host will confirm the decaying nature of its own culture by being unable to take effective action (http://www.ourcivilisation.com/brbarian/cowardly.htm) against the invaders.
A Modern Wave Of Unarmed Invaders
In the last few decades those countries considered part of Western Civilisation have become subject to an unarmed invasion by other races and cultures. The wealth and safety currently (circa 2001) enjoyed by England, France, Germany, USA etc. have made them desirable places to live for the poor and frightened of other countries, such as India, Pakistan, Mexico etc. While this has been true for a long time, the barriers that previously prevented the citizens of poor countries from migrating to the wealthier countries have been removed. The previous firm resistance by the citizens of the wealthier countries has been undermined by deterioration in the character of their citizens.
Invasion No Longer Resisted
Once the citizens of Western Civilisation were dutiful and proud to be white Christians, but under the impact of selfishness duty has been discarded (http://www.ourcivilisation.com/duty/index.htm) along with reverence for religion and race (http://www.ourcivilisation.com/impact/national.htm), thereby nullifying resistance to invasion. The only concerns now shown by citizens is for the welfare (http://www.ourcivilisation.com/brbarian/asylum.htm) of their invaders and the persecution (http://www.ourcivilisation.com/mltcult.htm) of any citizens who claim the invaders are enemies.
Invasion Flows From Vigorous To Feeble
Once the citizens of Western Civilisation were determined as well as able, so they dominated the countries occupied by weaker cultures. These subject countries became colonised — they were forced to adopt the language and culture of Western Civilisation — and the superior understanding of Western civilisation was promoted throughout the world, along with its peace and wealth. However as the citizens of Western Civilisation became selfish they lost their ability (http://www.ourcivilisation.com/signs/index.htm) and determination (http://www.ourcivilisation.com/moral2/moral54.htm), so the control exercised by Western communities declined. This allowed the colonies to recover their independence and re-assert their own culture, which inevitably obtained the poverty and misrule that had existed before colonialism. As Western Civilisation has abdicated its rule over its colonies, their wealth and peace have given way to poverty and anarchy. The example of the social collapse of South Africa (http://www.ourcivilisation.com/die.htm) has been repeated all over Africa. For many citizens of these colonies, modest means enjoyed in peace have been replaced by a perilous poverty, and the only escape from this misery is to go to where wealth and peace still exist, the home countries of their erstwhile colonial rulers. The tide of influence has reversed. It is no longer flowing from, but to, Western Civilisation; and instead of peace and wealth, it is poverty and anarchy that is now being spread.
Invasion Is Colonisation
The result of this migration is inevitable; the invaders take over their new homeland by sheer weight of numbers. The original manners, customs and beliefs of the destination country are slowly replaced by those of their invaders. This can be easily seen in the USA where the actual border with Mexico is slowly moving further north every year. The culture of the white Americans is being displaced by their mainly Hispanic invaders (http://www.ourcivilisation.com/usa/invade.htm); peace and wealth created by the white American culture are being replaced by poverty and crime (http://www.ourcivilisation.com/usa/index.htm) brought by the invaders; a take-over made obvious by the replacement of the use of the English language with Spanish. Miami is now a Spanish-speaking city even though it is technically in America — an English-speaking country.
Hadrian's Wall in America
The Americans have naturally tried to halt this invasion but their efforts are weak and ineffectual. The easiest way into America is by walking from Mexico, where a patrolled fence has been erected as a barrier (like Hadrian's wall). Those Mexicans who are detected crossing the barrier are merely returned to Mexico to try again (http://www.ourcivilisation.com/tryagain.htm). Those who cross undetected are still subject to discovery but this is an unlikely fate, and the penalty is just a return to Mexico to try again. And often the enforced return can be avoided by manipulation of the law (http://www.ourcivilisation.com/usa/index.htm#Born).
Mexico now colonising the USA
Mexico is now (circa 2000) colonising America and imposing its language and culture. Though the Americans still have the strength of understanding to recognise that the Hispanic invasion should be stopped, they are unable to take the measures required to achieve this end. The very least that must be done to halt the Hispanic invasion is the mass enslavement, or execution, of the invaders, which must be followed by an American invasion of Mexico to enforce American language and values upon the Mexicans. But the citizens of the USA recoil from such ruthless violence (see 'the communal attitude to violence (http://www.ourcivilisation.com/whatis/rules/rule13.htm)') and instead embrace delusion. They pretend their futile defence is not folly, ignore the slow but inevitable takeover of their country and persecute anyone who tries to dispel their illusions (http://www.ourcivilisation.com/truth.htm). America has lost its ability to defend itself and must eventually be overrun by people from other cultures.
Example Of American Failure Repeated
The example of the failure of the Americans to defend themselves is being repeated by every Western country. Sharing the same lack of ruthlessness required to repel their invaders these countries now find themselves no longer a single community but a group of different communities of varying races and cultures. Even Australia, which is isolated by vast areas of ocean, is being subject to invasion, and while no single Australian city has yet (circa 2001) been taken over, there are now parts of these cities that mimic the original homes of their invaders.
The failure of the Western countries to defend themselves reveals the powerful understanding once created by Western Civilisation has already dissolved. The two awful signs of impending communal death, the extinction of genius and the loss of the military spirit, are there for all to see. The mainly selfish citizens that now comprise Western Civilisation may still possess the technology discovered by genius, but they no longer have the wit nor the resolution to employ it.
Colonise Or Be Colonised
The simple truth that different cultures are irreconcilable (http://www.ourcivilisation.com/mltcult.htm), and one must dominate the others, means the now impotent cultures of Western Civilisation will be overrun. How a particular culture dominates, or attempts to dominate, other cultures, naturally reflects the character of that culture. The fact that the Americans refrain from killing their enemies does not mean that their enemies will refrain from killing them, as America was recently reminded. On September 11, 2001, around 3,000 people (http://www.ourcivilisation.com/usa/toll.htm) were murdered in a barbarian raid upon the USA, when the fanatical followers of an Islamic sect deliberately crashed hi-jacked passenger planes into the World Trade Centre and the Pentagon.
Armed Barbarians Are Coming—With A New Dark Age
The World Trade Centre attack, known as 911, is confirmation of Arnold Toynbee's claim (http://www.ourcivilisation.com/toynbee/warbands.htm) that the decline of our civilisation means it will be attacked by Barbarian war-bands until it is destroyed; probably by 'terrorists' using atomic car-bombs, for which there is no effective defence other than inflicting genocide (http://www.ourcivilisation.com/signs/dooley.htm), a solution our cowardly citizens will not dare consider. So it is clear that it can only be a matter of time before the increasing senility (http://www.ourcivilisation.com/signs/index.htm) of the countries that make up the Western world, will see them succumb to armed barbarian invaders. The result will be the final extinction of Western Civilisation, along with its wealth and power, and a return to the Dark Ages: which is the inevitable result of the absence of a sane (http://www.ourcivilisation.com/diagnose.htm) community anywhere and is the eventual collapse of science and religion into ignorance and superstition. That is, a return to a primitive community, where life is short, harsh and miserable.

2. Use one of Arnold Toynbee (http://www.ourcivilisation.com/toynbee.htm)'s methods outlined in "A Study Of History" which claimed that:
• The first eruption of a class war (http://www.ourcivilisation.com/toynbee/classwar.htm) marked the onset of decline. (The French Revolution (http://www.ourcivilisation.com/french.htm) in our case).

4. Determine if the general use of language (http://www.ourcivilisation.com/undrstnd.htm) is losing discipline, for this can only mean the general use of thought is also losing discipline, which is a decay of understanding. Such a result is indicated by the disappearance of plain speaking from citizens' sentiments. An undeniable symptom of the malaise is the deliberate use of more words than necessary, such as invoking "at this moment in time" instead of "now", or "the state of the art" instead of "latest". And the addition of surplus words such as converting a "riot" into a "riot situation" and "opportunity" into "a window of opportunity". As well as the blurring of meaning caused by the popular adoption of vague words like "situation, position (http://www.ourcivilisation.com/smartboard/shop/gowerse/complete/chap8.htm#Situation)" and now (circa 2003) "focus". The less precise our language the less precise our thoughts, and the less precise our thoughts the more vague our language; which is a self-sustaining cycle of increasing weakness of understanding. Think about the conquistadors and how they took over South America. They didn't really even use guns/gun powder since they had limited supply.
