I grew up in and live in the PDX area. The stress of living as a Thai-Cambodian woman in such a white city replete with constant interpersonal and institutional racism has a big toll on my health and wellbeing.* I see an amazing therapist to cope with this shit, but I spend $100/month on therapy for bi-weekly appointments. Now it's your turn to pay!

She would do best to wake to the racial realities of the world, that as an Asian she will never fit perfectly into white culture. So she has two choices. One, move to be with her own people, her own culture, in the craphole they came from. Or two, enjoy the benefits of white culture (safety, prosperity, wealth, etc) and accept that you don't belong but are allowed to stay, like a guest in someone else's home. If white people had half the balls as a couple generations ago, she'd have been kicked out of the city for saying stuff like this.
