This incident indicates that the protection of Syrian airspace is now under the protection of the Russian air weapon. What causes gnashing of teeth in Washington. The incident has been ignored by major news agencies but relays political and media of Israel in the United States, Europe and in the Arab world will redouble their efforts to demonize the Russian support for the Syrian Government.

Israel is tough when the all powerful US has their back. As soon as there's a serious challenge, they stop being the bully picking on the little guy. A lot easier to assault unarmed Palestinians with white phosphorous than it is to fight a foe who's armed with state of the art weapons.

Hard saying why they would leave....maybe just testing waters, but I suspect if they wanted to they could do some serious damage. The IDF isnt a joke to take lightly.
They have some top notch training. And if that's the plane in the picture they are running from I don't see why an F15 would run from that. I'm sure those F15 are equipped with some good electronics. Better than Russian anyway.

What I find particularly noteworthy lately is that Satanyahoo routinely talks all kinds of shit about his boytoy 0bombya yet the other day he had nothing but kind words for Putin. Go figure.
