There are a few different over powered cars out there these days and most the people buying them have absolutely no idea how to control the power.

The other day I saw a totaled 2015 Ford Mustang 5.0 (535 hp) with 50 miles on it. The owner allowed a friend to take it for a joyride and his buddy turned off the traction control. Liberty Mutual paid him the full cost of the car plus gave him salvage rights.

I remember driving the first SRT8 300 we got when I was working at Chrysler... even with only 425 HP it was fairly crazy. Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT8 with AWD was even worse (better)!

CONFIRMED: THE JEEP GRAND CHEROKEE SRT HELLCAT IS COMING
HorsepowerKings | August 26, 2015
http://horsepowerkings.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/02/jeepgchellcat-1024x683.jpg
Update 6/18: Well folks, we originally reported that the Hellcat Jeep Cherokee is coming back in January, and today Fiat-Chrysler has confirmed it. Not only is the new ‘Trackhawk’ confirmed for production, there are already Hellcat-powered Jeep test mules running around on the streets.
The new Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT Hellcat is coming.
The Cherokee Hellcat project – codenamed “Trackhawk” (which is now trademarked by Chrysler) – will feature an improved all-wheel-drive system with a “beefed-up” transfer case, along with “other improved driveline components”. In fact, the new Cherokee Hellcat could burrow technology from the Ram Diesel’s 8HP70 4WD System.
Insiders also tell us that despite the rumors, the Cherokee Hellcat WILL arrive with every bit of the Hellcat’s 707 horsepower – despite rumors that Chrysler would de-tune the motor for the Grand Cherokee Hellcat model due to the relatively-fragile AWD system. In fact, the “Trackhawk” may actually receive a ‘boost increase’, thanks to the 5,210 lb curb weight.

There has also been discussion that Chrysler may brand this new earth-rotating Jeep as the “Hellhawk”, which would be appropriately menacing.
Furthermore, we are also hearing murmurings of a project “Cyclone” that may be in the works – which could be the Durango SRT Hellcat variant. Also something of note: A North-American version of the SRT 300C, powered by the Hellcat motor – “is not completely off the table”, but it may be “awhile” before we hear anything official. We will update you soon.

The Chrysler hellcat gets 22 mpg on the highway, wow. Would not have expected that, with over 700 hp.

Ford to release limited edition 727-horsepower Mustangs
Your move, Dodge.
Ford Motor Co. will release an extremely limited number of special-edition Mustang GTs that get up to 727 horsepower — 20 more than Dodge’s popular Hellcat Charger and Challenger sports cars.
The Dearborn automaker partnered with NASCAR legend Richard Petty to create three Mustang GT King Edition pony cars. Only 300 — 243 King models, 43 King Premier models and 14 King Premier convertibles — will be built. The Mustangs will range from $67,495 to $90,495 and customers can now order them through their local Ford dealerships.
“I’ve always liked the look of the Mustang, and the 2016 model gives us a great base car to work with,” Petty said in a statement. “These new King edition Mustangs are pretty much the way I’d build my own. They are great fun to drive, and have a signature single exhaust.”
The modified Mustangs use a factory GT as a base model. Petty’s speed shop, Petty’s Garage, added a supercharger to add 235 horsepower to the stock 435-horsepower 5-liter V8. Options for all three editions include different wheel bushings, a coil-over racing suspension and a supercharger upgrade that results in the 727-horsepower total.
Other modifications include a custome engine calibration, a cold-air intake for better breathing and a MagnaFlow exhaust.
The cars also include custom wheels, rear diffusers, shift knob, sill plates, floor mats, embroidered head restraints and rear spoilers. Every model will also be signed by Richard Petty.
The King Premier edition includes different wheels, a brake upgrade kit, a custom leather trimmed interior and a special stripe package.
From what I can see it's only a few gold coins away at 75K. Every american blue collar worker can afford these.

Hennessey HPE750 Mustang Hits 207.9 MPH For Jay Leno’s Garage

Prices for the HPE750 start at $59,500 USD, including the base 2015 Mustang GT (http://www.autoblog.com/ford/mustang/), but building an exact replica of this one would cost $69,374, according to Hennessey. In addition to the huge top speed, the company claims that the coupe can reach 60 mph in 3.4 seconds and cover the quarter mile in 10.9 seconds.

I'd like a Mustang. Also would go a Camaro. Hired a Mustang one time in north america. Was a convertible. Great fun. Attracted people like no bodies business. You could not park the car and walk or go back to the car and just get into it and drive. Have to talk to a bunch of people each way.
