To be fair, we are fucked both ways.


Drugs Legal:


More Shitskins roaming around raping, stealing, and killing. Basically they're primary source of income will force them to do crimes which effect the common person
Pay more for rehabilitation
More people will be stoned/high (this is debatable though)




Drugs Illegal:

More expenses for jails
Larger government bureaucracies and agencies
Better organized criminal networks
Drugs themselves cost more money and drain overall economy towards Black Market drugs which kill people




I think the best solution would be to keep drugs illegal, but execute drug dealers/traffickers/makers. This will drive up the prices of drugs so much no one will be able to afford it. That won't happen though since I'm just LARPing.

I think one of the bigger points here is that the state has very successfully overridden the family/parent's natural authority in raising their kids and for the most part now it's not "listen to your mom and dad," it's "listen to the government." Regardless of whether or not kids will or won't do drugs, the authority over the children belongs to the parents, not the state.
