Tom DeLay: Congress Should Consider Impeaching Obama If He Takes Executive Action On Gun ControlWASHINGTON (CBSDC) — Former House Majority Leader Tom DeLay believes Congress should consider impeaching President Barack Obama if he issues an executive order on gun control.

DeLay told “Newsmax Prime” (http://www.newsmax.com/Newsfront/tom-delay-barack-obama-guns-executive/2015/10/23/id/698799/) it would be a “very healthy thing to do” if Obama decides to circumvent Congress.

“The fact that you might bring it before the Judiciary Committee and investigate it and determine whether it’s an impeachable offense is a very healthy thing to do,” he said.

Two Obama administration sources told CBS News (http://www.cbsnews.com/news/obama-to-consider-executive-action-on-gun-background-checks/) earlier this month that Obama is weighing whether to use an executive order to expand background checks for gun buyers.

The proposed rule would require gun dealers who sell a large number of firearms to perform background checks on potential buyers and the dealers would also need to be licensed by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, according to CBS News .

The proposed rule comes after a shooting at an Oregon community college that left nine people dead.

DeLay told “Newsmax Prime” Congress needs to show America that Obama is a “lawless president.”

“The House needs to use its power of hearings to start letting the American people know that this is a lawless president, we have a lawless Supreme Court – and the judiciary needs to step up and show the American people what this president is doing, which will support any other efforts to defund the president,” he said.

DeLay served as House Majority Leader from 2003 to 2005.

But the fed gives the states so much free money, and all they have to do is everything the feds say.

What was that movement that never took hold? There was some state that wanted to hold all income tax revenue during the year and submit it all to the fed on April 15th - thereby accruing interest the whole time. As a result, if the feds played the puppet string game, the state can then have access to the tax money and deduct before sending.

I'd love to see something like that go down !
