A group of black Missouri football players will refuse to play until University of Missouri system president Tim Wolfe resigns, according to a tweet published by Missouri's Legion of Black Collegians Saturday night.
Wolfe has come under fire in recent weeks for his and Missouri's response to a recent series of race-related events. Most importantly, he gave what critics have deemed an insufficient response to a group of protestors who confronted him during Missouri's Homecoming parade on Oct. 20, with the car carrying Wolfe also striking one of the protestors.
In response, a student group calling itself Concerned Student 1950 — which takes its name in part from the year that Missouri first admitted a black student — has emerged as a protesting body and in late October published a list of demands that include the resignation of Wolfe. And on Nov. 2, the protestor struck by Wolfe's car, a graduate student named Jonathan Butler, announced he would begin a hunger strike that would last until Wolfe resigns, writing of incidents including the president of the Missouri Students Association being called a racial slur on campus.
That president, a student named Payton Head, also tweeted screenshots of messages posted on the app Yik Yak on Thursday. The original tweet of those screenshots has accumulated more than 1,000 retweets as of late Saturday.
Wolfe met with Butler on Friday and issued a statement that included an apology for his response during the Homecoming parade. But he also had a far less successful run-in with protestors in Kansas City, answering a question about "systematic oppression" poorly enough to produce howls that chased him as he walked away from the conversation, and video of that interaction caught fire on social media late Friday night.
"The department of athletics is aware of the declarations made tonight by many of our student-athletes," a Mizzou spokesperson said in a statement. "We all must come together with leaders from across our campus to tackle these challenging issues and we support our student-athletes right to do so."
A significant subset of Missouri's football team has joining the vocal resistance against Wolfe would seem to be the latest large-scale effort by the growing protest movement to force Wolfe and/or the university to act.
Safety Anthony Sherrils was first to post about the boycott, prior to the LBC's tweet.

Black grad student on hunger strike in Mo. after swastika drawn with human feces
The swastika appeared overnight, drawn with human feces on a college dorm’s brand new white wall.
But the racial tension had been brewing for months.
Once ranked among the best places to live in America, Columbia has witnessed a flurry of racist incidents in recent months, culminating with the swastika scrawled in excrement on Oct. 24.
Now a graduate student says he is on a hunger strike and is willing to die unless the school’s president steps down.
“My body feels like it’s on fire,” Jonathan L. Butler, 25, told The Washington Post on Thursday night, four days into his one-man protest. “I have pain all over. I’m exhausted. Of course, I’m hungry. I’ve got an ongoing headache.”
Butler said he was just drinking water — no multivitamins, no painkillers — until University of Missouri President Tim Wolfe steps down. Butler and other black students blame Wolfe for what they say is the school’s failure to address the rising tide of racism on campus.
“I already feel like campus is an unlivable space,” said Butler, who is African American. “So it’s worth sacrificing something of this grave amount, because I’m already not wanted here. I’m already not treated like I’m a human.”
University Chancellor R. Bowen Loftin said in a statement that his “heart is heavy” with concern for Butler’s health, and agreed that “racism has deep roots at our university.” He promised to “find solutions” to “make our university an inclusive and welcoming environment for all.”
Butler’s hunger strike may be the most dramatic recent action against racism on American college campuses, but it is far from the only one. In the 15 months since African American teenager Michael Brown was fatally shot by a white police officer in Ferguson, Mo., universities around the country have become home to protests the likes of which haven’t been seen since the civil rights movement of the 1960s.
Young protesters, many of them students of color, have swelled speakers circles and occupied quads to criticize police officers, politicians and university administrators for allegedly prejudiced policies or practices.
But as the Black Lives Matter movement and others like it have drawn attention to lingering racism in the United States, they have also drawn a backlash.
Nooses have been left hanging on trees at Duke University and the University of Mississippi. Students at multiple schools have hosted “blackface parties.” The University of Southern California’s student body president was called an “Indian piece of s—.” Even Yale, a supposed bastion of Ivy League etiquette, saw swastikas scribbled across its campus.
As in the ’60s, colleges and universities have again become the front line of America’s culture war.
Butler says the problems began in Ferguson, about two hours east, but quickly made their way to Columbia. When white police officer Darren Wilson fatally shot 18-year-old Brown on August 9, 2014, the incident shook the entire nation. But it also affected Columbia. Many Mizzou students come from the Ferguson/St. Louis area. Many others, including Butler, nonetheless drove to Ferguson to protest.
Butler was just starting a Master’s degree in educational leadership and policy analysis when protests erupted in Ferguson. He had attended Mizzou as an undergrad as well and liked it enough to stay.
But even as he and his friends were holding signs and chanting on Ferguson’s streets, he was surprised, as he sees it, to see his university do little to address the racial tensions simmering in the same state.
[A confrontation over race at Yale: Hundreds of students demand answers from the school’s first black dean]
“There was national coverage, so for the school to not cover that or really address that, and we are only two hours away, I think was a huge mistake on their part and contributed to the current cultural environment that we have,” he said. “It just shows that there are racially motivated things — murders, assaults, other things — that happen and we are just going to sweep them under the rug.”
Mizzou has its own history of racism. When the university was founded in 1839, Missouri was a slave state. The state capitol was built by slaves and the university also used slave labor. Several of its founders were ardent slavery supporters.
Butler is well aware of this history. He is also aware of an incident in 2010 when cotton balls were strewn around Mizzou’s Black Culture Center because he was an undergrad at the time.
But nothing prepared him what would happen this semester.
This summer was another tense one for race relations in America. On June 17, self-declared white supremacist Dylann Roof slaughtered nine African American parishioners in Charleston, S.C., setting off a several month-long debate over the Confederate flag. Then there was the anniversary of Brown’s death and more protests in Ferguson.
The problems in Columbia began on Sept. 11. That’s when Payton Head, the Missouri Students Association president and an African American, was racially abused as he walked home.
“Last night as I walking through campus, some guys riding on the back of a pickup truck decided that it would be okay to continuously scream N—– at me,” Head wrote on Facebook the next day. “I really just want to know why my simple existence is such a threat to society.”
African American students became upset when it took university chancellor R. Bowen Loftin nearly a week to respond to the incident. After several other black students experienced similar abuse, Butler and others organized a rally.
“The University of Missouri does not care about black students,” Danielle Walker shouted into a microphone. “Racism lives here. Not in Ferguson. Not in Baltimore. Not in South Carolina. Here. Right here.”
Not everyone was happy with the protest.
“If you are not comfortable at MU please leave,” wrote a commenter on an article covering the protest. “This racist issue is sure getting old and tiresome.”
Barely a week later came another ugly on-campus incident.
Shortly after midnight on Oct. 5, members of the Legion of Black Collegians (LBC) were in a campus plaza rehearsing for a play the following night when “an inebriated white male” called them “n—–s.”
This time, the university responded more promptly, with Loftin issuing a statement denouncing the incidents. “We support free speech in the context of learning, spirited inquiry and intellectual discussion, but acts of bias and discrimination will not be tolerated at Mizzou,” he wrote.
“It’s happened again,” he said in a video address. “Hate and racism were alive and well at Mizzou.”
A few days later, the white student was identified and “moved from campus,” according to the university.
The removal of the student did little to make Butler or his friends feel better. He told The Post of other recent incidents, including an instance when black journalism students were called the n-word and threatened with comments about the Ku Klux Klan.
“The culture on campus has been deteriorating really fast,” he said. “It’s just gotten to the point on campus where it’s really not safe for black students or really all marginalized students. Me personally, I won’t feel safe on campus until there is an urgency that things need to change and be taken seriously.
“It’s just a very hostile environment for black students,” he said. Although some Mizzou administrators responded to black students’ complaints, Butler felt the school wasn’t going far enough.
“We are facing a lot of negativity and oppression on a daily basis,” he said. “And then you students go to a diversity forums, you see them write letters, you see them write e-mails and send tweets and do all these things, we bare our souls and tell very painful stories but … our lives are still not valued. At some point, after spending all that energy telling people that I deserve to be recognized as a human, like my existence matters, at a certain point you are putting people in a corner and you keep poking them with a stick, things escalate until people feel like they are hurt.”
Another group of student protesters covered a statue of Thomas Jefferson with sticky notes with words such as “racist,” “rapist” and “hypocrite” in protest, Fusion reported.
But Butler and his friends took another route. They were hurt, so they hatched a plan to make University of Missouri system President Tom Wolfe pay attention to their pain.
On Oct. 10, with the LBC abuse still fresh in their minds, Butler and 10 other African American students interrupted Mizzou’s homecoming parade by surrounding Wolfe’s gleaming red convertible.
“We will be here until we are heard,” Butler shouted into a megaphone as Wolfe and his wife sat awkwardly on top of the back seat, “and our people are protected and they feel safe on this campus.”
Butler and his fellow students chanted until Columbia Police pushed them out of the way, threatening to arrest them and rattling cans of pepper spray in their faces. (Cops did not spray anyone and nobody was arrested, Butler said.)
“We had drunk bystanders come and push us around, curse us out, say some really disgusting things,” Butler said of the demonstration. “Tim Wolfe allowed his driver to rev his engine, and by revving his engine and going back and forth, he ended up bumping one of us twice. The Columbia Police Dept threatened to arrest us even though we were being peaceful. You can see in the photos, we had our hands up and just wanted to do our demonstration and leave.”
When Wolfe didn’t hear them out, Butler became even more frustrated.
“I thought, ‘What else do I have to do to prove my humanity’?” Butler told The Washington Post. “What else do I have to do, just because I’m a black person, to prove to you that I deserve to have a good experience on campus? That’s when I started to think about the action of the hunger strike.”
Then, two weeks later, Mizzou’s racial tensions flared again when someone used their own feces to smear a swastika on a communal bathroom wall in a brand new residence hall. The incident seemed to capture the college’s predicament: each attempt at a fresh start besmirched by old prejudices.
“This individual used a symbol that targets cultural and religious minorities in a place where students call their home,” wrote Residence Halls Association President Billy Donley in a news release, adding that the vandalism was “an act of hate.”
A university spokesman downplayed the incident, however.
“It was some vandalism that was discovered several days ago in a residence hall in a restroom,” Christian Basi told the Columbia Missourian.
For Butler, the disgusting incident, and the university’s response, was the last straw.
On Nov. 2, he tweeted out a letter announcing that he was going on hunger strike.
“You may or may not know me,” it began. “Since Mr. Wolfe joined the UM system as president in 2012, there have been a slew of racist, sexist, homophobic, etc., incidents that have dynamically disrupted the learning experience for marginalized/underrepresented students at the University of Missouri.”
“The revolting acts that are occurring at Mizzou are a result of a poisonous infestation of apathy that has been spawning from University of Missouri system leadership,” Butler wrote. “Starting today … I will be embarking on an indefinite hunger strike in opposition to Tim Wolfe as the University of Missouri system president. During this hunger strike, I will not consume any food or nutritional sustenance at the expense of my health until either Tim Wolfe is removed from office or my internal organs fail and my life is lost.”
Butler said he didn’t consult with his fellow activists ahead of time because he “didn’t want to bring undue concern to them.”
For the past four days, he has consumed nothing but water.
“I’m going about my regular daily life, only as of recently a lot slower, just ‘cause I don’t have the energy,” he told The Post.
The response to his hunger strike has helped keep up his spirits, even as his body has lagged. Butler said he has received prayers and messages of support from people across the country and even a group of students in South Korea.
Most importantly, Butler’s hunger strike drew a response from Wolfe — but not the one Butler hoped.
“We have got to create an environment on this beautiful campus and the other three campuses that we have where all students can be successful regardless of where they came from, their race, or their degree program,” Wolfe told a group of students on Tuesday. “We have got to maximize everything that we can do focusing on student success and I can only do that through conversation and understanding the hurdles and obstacles that are in front of Jonathan or anyone else.”
Wolfe told the students that he would like to meet with Butler and said he was open to arranging a meeting between the hunger striker and the university’s board of curators, according to KBIA.
But Butler said he will only eat when Wolfe is gone and the university takes other steps to address racism on campus.
“I don’t think Tim Wolfe is worth my life,” he told The Post. “But I do believe that when it comes to fighting for justice, you have to be willing to have a level of sacrifice.”
Asked if he was really prepared to die, Butler claimed he was.
“It’s a very real reality,” he said. “It’s a very real reality.”

A great idea.
All niggers should start a hunger strike until these demands are met:
1. All nigger IQs will be equal with whites and asians.
2. All niggers rule over the whites.
3. All whites pay slavery reparations by becoming slaves to the black.
And for this hunger strike, we should help by shutting off all EBT/SNAP free food from government. Evict all government housing and make feral monkeys earn their own living. Eliminate college scholarships based on sports instead of scholar.

COLUMBIA — A group of MU students which calls itself Concerned Student 1950 organized a demonstration Thursday in which about 200 people walked through campus and chanted phrases including, "Join us in the revolution."
The campout has garnered campuswide attention. On Wednesday night, former Missouri football player Michael Sam was spotted dropping off water to the students.

A professor of mass media at Missouri University called for ‘muscle’ to help her stop a cameraman from reporting a students’ anti-racism protest on the campus, as seen in the video.
Student photographer Mark Schierbecker was trying to record the anti-racist protest at the university campus.
He asked for an interview from a near-by woman, who was later identified as Melissa Click, an assistant professor of mass media. When Click understood Schierbecker was a journalist, she grabbed his camera and demanded that he leave.

The Jew is trying to criminalize "Hate Speech" and "Hurtful Speech". Most of the government there will play along. They probably cant prosecute people legally yet, but if they get a police officer to lecture the Racist™ that will help set the precedent that is is illegal, then they can easily change the law to make it illegal in actuality.

read the comments here there some real keepers ... Dear MUPD,
The man living at 600 Pennsylvania Ave NW, Washington , DC 201500 said something very hateful about someone like me when he said "It's not surprising, then, they get bitter, they cling to guns or religion or antipathy to people who aren't like them."
Please do all you can to stop this man from speaking as almost everything coming out of his mouth filled with hate and divisive. http://www.mediaite.com/online/university-of-missouri-police-ask-students-to-report-hurtful-speech/ Coming soon ... criminal charge for 'disrespeccing a colored person', not the other way around, just for blacks getting butthurt feelers. Buncha idiot chil
This is WHY I'm trying to tell you guys you need to willingly embrace Racial Realism. If you don't these people will run right over you and take all your rights, freedoms, money, and eventually life away from you. They view the White race as weak pussies.

These two tweets alone now have over 300 and almost 150 retweets respectively, and that doesn't count the hundreds of other tweets about Sam Hyde going viral.
We literally convinced thousands of people that Sam Hyde was on a moon-man rampage on a whim.
How far can we take it? What else will they believe?

nyc/dc hoax confirmed
https://www.rawstory.com/2015/11/furious-conservatives-demand-arrest-of-mizzou-student-president-over-false-kkk-claims/
Missouri’s student body president could face impeachment after claiming the Ku Klux Klan had been seen on campus.
Payton Head, president of the Missouri Student Association, has apologized for sharing the false information on his Twitter account, and he later invited students who objected to his leadership to initiate impeachment proceedings if they wished.
Head tweeted Tuesday night that he was “working with” University of Missouri Police, the Missouri State Highway Patrol and the National Guard after KKK members had been “confirmed to be sighted on campus.”
He warned other students to stay away from windows and take other safety precautions, but he later deleted his statements after the MU alert system notified students that no immediate threat existed and asked them not to spread false rumors.
Head later apologized, saying he passed along inaccurate information out of fears for student safety.
“I received and shared information from multiple incorrect sources, which I deeply regret,” Head said. “The last thing needed is to incite more fear in the hearts of our community.”
Head told students to rely on the MU Alert system and its Twitter account instead of other sources — including himself.
Conservatives are digging into Head’s background, which includes at least one meeting with President Barack Obama during a visit to the White House.
Internet sleuths claim that Head, a Chicago native, served as an intern for the city’s mayor, Rahm Emanuel, and the student himself indicated he had done some type of community work with the mayor.
They also attacked his father, a former high school principal, for filing a lawsuit after he was fired.
Head played a leading role in the student protests that forced the resignation of the university’s president, Tim Wolfe, over complaints that he had not done enough to address concerns about the safety of black students.
The student president claimed in September that some men in a pickup truck hurled racial slurs at him as he walked on campus, and his emotional Facebook post about the incident was widely shared.
“I really just want to know why my simple existence is such a threat to society,” Head wondered in that social media post.
Another student, Jonathan Butler, went on a hunger strike earlier this month to protest Head’s treatment and other alleged instances of campus racism — and his protest was backed by increasing numbers of students, including the Missouri football team.
“Let it be known I have no ill will or thoughts of harm toward Mr. Wolfe,” Butler said in announcing his hunger strike. “But I do have an urgency to make the campus I call home a more safe, welcoming and inclusive environment for all identities and backgrounds.”

Jonathan Butler, a central figure in the protests at the University of Missouri, is an Omaha native and the son of a railroad vice president, the Omaha World-Herald reports (http://www.omaha.com/news/metro/omaha-central-grad-ends-hunger-strike-over-racial-issues-at/article_0ce481c2-8739-11e5-b80f-2333434f833f.html).

Wolfe, from office. Wolfe resigned Monday and Butler ended his hunger strike (http://www.stltoday.com/news/local/education/at-mizzou-an-upheaval-leads-to-a-campus-celebration/article_fa9f0aae-511c-5843-a420-fca7ce1743c6.html).
Jonathan Butler played high-school football at Omaha Central High, where he won a state championship, and earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Mizzou, the newspaper reports. He is working toward a master’s degree in educational leadership and policy.
He is a member of a prominent Omaha family. The newspaper says that Butler's father is Eric L. Butler, executive vice president for sales and marketing for the Union Pacific Railroad. His 2014 compensation was $8.4 million, according to regulatory filings with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
Eric L. Butler and his wife, Cynthia Butler, serve as pastors of Joy of Life Ministries (http://www.jolchurch.org/), the newspaper reported. Along with Jonathan Butler, the couple has two other children.
Butler, who was seen walking on the Mizzou campus on Tuesday, has declined to be interviewed by the Post-Dispatch, other than to say he was feeling better.

Students at 110 college campuses across the country planned to walk out of class Thursday to march for an affordable education.
The aptly named Million Student March has been months in the making, inspired by national campaigns to boost minimum wages, explained Beth Huang, a coordinator for the Student Labor Action Project (SLAP), an initiative of a labor union and foundation-funded group called Jobs with Justice.
They are demanding free tuition at public universities, the cancellation of all student debt and a $15 minimum wage for all campus workers.

These kids are far, far, FAR too stupid to understand this. They have no concept of reality, how it works, and no interest in understanding as much. They are spoiled children who, for their entire lives, have been given everything they want, and when they don't get something they want, they throw a tantrum and then they get it. This is how they've been raised, so now that they're adults (legally adults but intellectually and behaviorally children), and they want something, they think a collective tantrum will get them it. Dean of Claremont McKenna College Resigns After Students Protest Racial Bias and Marginalization
Responding to campus protests and two reported hunger strikes over racial discrimination and faculty’s inadequate and tone-deaf response to student concerns, the dean of Claremont McKenna College, in Claremont, California, has resigned her position, reports the Los Angeles Times.
At issue is the school’s apparent mishandling of a couple of high profile attempts by members of the student body to engage the school’s leadership on the topics of marginalization and inclusiveness. On April 9, 30 students of color sent a letter to the school’s president, Hiram Chodosh, offering a series of proposals to help Claremont McKenna provide better support to students who have felt isolated and even excluded on campus. That letter can be found in its entirety at the bottom of this post.

Black students around U.S. complain of casual, everyday racism
http://images.onset.freedom.com/ocregister/nxqgz0-b88566682z.120151112191100000gfgd5de1.10.jpg
BOSTON – It’s not always the slurs and the other out-and-out acts of racism. It’s the casual, everyday slights and insensitivities.
Sheryce Holloway is tired of white people at Virginia Commonwealth University asking if they can touch her hair or if she knows the latest dance move. At Chicago’s Loyola University, Dominick Hall says groups of white guys stop talking when he walks by, and people grip their bags a little tighter. And Katiana Roc says a white student a few seats away from her at West Virginia University got up and moved to the other side of the classroom.
As thousands of students took part in walkouts and rallies on college campuses across the country (http://www.ocregister.com/articles/students-691896-uci-black.html) Thursday in a show of solidarity with protesters at the University of Missouri, many young black people spoke of a subtle and pervasive brand of racism that doesn’t make headlines but can nevertheless have a corrosive effect.
There’s even a word on campuses for that kind of low-grade insensitivity toward minorities: microaggression.
“It’s more the daily microaggressions than the large situations,” said Akosua Opokua-Achampong, a sophomore at Boston College. “Those also hurt.”
When Opokua-Achampong tells other students that she’s from New Jersey, some ask where she’s REALLY from. “When you’re not white, you can’t just be American,” she said. (She was born in the U.S. to parents from Ghana.)
Janay Williams, a senior at the University of California Los Angeles, said she is the only black person in her biology class and is routinely among the last picked for group assignments.
“Students don’t want to be in the same group as you with a group project, because they’re afraid you’re not going to do your share,” she said.
Jioni A. Lewis, a psychology professor at the University of Tennessee, said research has shown that the stresses of being a minority, on top of the usual pressures of adjusting to college, can cause some students to leave school.
Roc, a junior at West Virginia, said she can’t forget the day that student moved across the room.
“He looked uncomfortable. I’m pretty sure he moved because of the color of my skin. It didn’t hurt my feelings,” she said. “What disappointed me was his ignorance.”
She added that just being on campus can be a day-to-day struggle.
“But instead of me saying that I’ll transfer where I feel more comfortable, I’d rather stick it out here,” she said. “I’m not here for how people look at me; I’m here for my education.”
Stories like that aren’t new, students said. But many said the revolt at Missouri — and the Black Lives Matter movement that was set in motion by the shooting of a black man in Ferguson, Missouri — have finally driven them to talk about it and confront it.
On social media, students are sharing their personal experiences with racism, using the hashtag “BlackOnCampus.”
Students at some colleges have also presented administrators with lists of demands in recent days, inspired by those of the protesters at Missouri, who brought down the university president and chancellor this week over what they saw as a sluggish response to racial slurs and other incidents on campus.
Among other things, the student protesters around the U.S. are calling for greater diversity on the faculty, more spending on scholarships for minorities, more instruction on tolerance and sensitivity, and more resources such as cultural centers.
University administrators have responded by hosting diversity forums in recent days, or meeting to hear demands.
Students at some schools, such as the University of Michigan, said the Missouri case has emboldened them to take a harder stance against administrators if they don’t keep their promises.
Holloway, the Virginia Commonwealth student, said she used to try to ignore subtler instances of racism. But she has decided not to keep quiet anymore.
“It’s hard when it’s something you see every day,” she said. “It’s exhausting. It’s fatiguing and, you know, we’re frustrated.”

Mizzou activist Payton Head a secret WHITE HOUSE operative?http://www.naturalnews.com/gallery/640/Misc/Obama-Payton-Head-White-House-Mizzou.jpg
Saturday, November 14, 2015 by: J. D. Heyes
Tags: Payton Head (http://www.naturalnews.com/Payton_Head.html), Obama Administration (http://www.naturalnews.com/Obama_Administration.html), social engineering operative (http://www.naturalnews.com/social_engineering_operative.html)
Do the racially motivated protests at the University of Missouri seem a little too organized, a little too planned, perhaps even a bit canned? There may be a very good reason for that.
It could be that everything going on now was planned, in advance, by the one guy who could honestly say he's an expert at rabble-rousing and protest: Barack Hussein Obama.
Now, before you roll your eyes in irritated disbelief, you were curious enough about the potential that a lot of what is taking place on the Mizzou campus was orchestrated that you clicked on this story. So the least you can do for yourself is finish reading it.
There is at least an association between President Obama and the young man essentially whipping up much of the racial hysteria at Mizzou – Payton Head, president of the University of Missouri student body. Did you know that Head actually met President Obama, circa July 2011, according to this picture posted to Head's Facebook account (https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=2811702095096&set=a.2811702055095.2119338.1335072167&type=3)?
In fact, according to this search (https://open.whitehouse.gov/dataset/White-House-Visitor-Records-Requests/p86s-ychb?q=payton%20head) of the White House visitor's log online, someone by the name of Payton Head visited the White House four times – July 25, 2011 (which coincides with the Facebook post); July 26, 2011; March 19, 2014; and again on May 29, 2015.
Suspicious behavior and unconfirmed claims
There's more. As reported (http://chicago.cbslocal.com/2015/11/09/chicagoan-at-center-of-resignation-at-university-of-missouri/) by CBS, Head is also from Chicago – Obama's hometown:
A Chicago student is at the center of a movement that brought down the president of the University of Missouri.
Payton Head, from Chicago's South Side, is the student body president who led the call for the university's president to resign or be fired.
Plus, Natural News (http://natural.news/) readers will recall that some of this young man's behavior has been downright suspicious, with uncorroborated claims of incidents of racism. Let's start with his claim that he'd been the victim of a racial slur that was hurled at him by some drunk white guys riding in a pickup truck as he walked on campus one evening. But there was never any police report made, and you'd think that the student body leader would have the presence of mind to set a leadership example by doing so – especially now, after so much has happened there.
Also, Head claimed via social media (http://www.naturalnews.com/051932_KKK_paranoid_delusions_Mizzou_student_body. html) that members of the KKK were actually roaming the MU campus, tossing bricks at windows and terrorizing students of color. Head claimed that he was in contact with the MU police, state troopers and National Guard – all of which turned out to be a lie, as he later admitted.
"Students please take precaution," Head warned in a Facebook post, as reported by Natural News editor Mike Adams, the Health Ranger. "Stay away from the windows in residence halls. The KKK has been confirmed to be sighted on campus. I'm working with the MUPD, the state trooper [sic] and the National Guard."
It's all just coincidence – right?
"Head's comments added to the tumult, and soon dozens both on and off-campus were tweeting about the supposed KKK presence, with some claiming the Klansmen were throwing bricks through dorm windows and others wildly claiming the KKK were enjoying police protection," The Daily Caller added (http://dailycaller.com/2015/11/11/mizzou-students-hallucinate-kkk-on-campus/?utm_medium=twitter&utm_source=twitterfeed).
The site further reported that, later, after the panic settled down and some rationality seeped back into the student body consciousness, it was learned that the incident was nothing but mass hysteria:
[I]t turns out the entire affair was an incident of mass hysteria. Barely an hour after the mania began, local police clarified that there was no evidence of any KKK activity on campus.
Ties to the Obama White House. Ties to Obama's home town of Chicago. Multiple visits with an expert in "community organizing" and Left-wing rabble-rousing, one just months before all the chaos began at MU. False-flag reports. Fomenting hysteria.
I guess it could all be a coincidence – right?

>New correspondence reviewed by Heat Street and National Review depicts the cataclysmic backlash against the University of Missouri as its administrators grappled with demands from rowdy protestors, a hunger-striking grad student, and a boycotting football team.
>The 7,400 pages of emails, reviewed exclusively by these two publications, reveal how Mizzou overwhelmingly lost the support of longtime sports fans, donors, and alumni.
>Parents and grandparents wrote in from around the country declaring that their family members wouldn’t be attending Mizzou after the highly publicized controversy. Some current students talked about leaving.
>Already, freshman enrollment is down 25%, leaving a $32 million funding gap and forcing the closure of four dorms. The month after the protests, donations to the athletic department were a mere $191,000—down 72% over the same period a year earlier. Overall fundraising also took a big hit.
There is some serious spin going down on this.
I'm from Missouri and every single Mizzou alumni I spoke with (Which was a lot. I am a civil servant) said they don't want anything to do with Mizzou anymore because they caved into the nigger demands.
I should add, the issue of civil lawsuits are what really scares university presidents, but they are beginning to realize that there is just as much of a threat from being sued by innocent students who get caught in the Orwellian web of university codes of conduct as there is from false flag racist/sexist suits. The boards and presidents of these schools can do the math, and fucking over the majority of your student body for a loud minority doesn't make business sense.
I've had some conversations with professors about how money will eventually destroy the SJW fad. Schools will simply go bankrupt if they follow the trend to its logical conclusion. Expect to see genders studies programs lose funding all over the country in the coming decades. Expect to see huge shake-ups in administration and faculty. The education bubble combined with the unsustainable social and fiscal situation on campuses will come to a head eventually.
As an alumni of Mizzou, I can day that I am still disgusted by what the university did. When I was there it was great, this of course before all the sjw crap going on now.
I love the school, but the current students there makes it impossible to cheer on the Tigers anymore. I hope that Mizzou can rectify this so I can be a proud alumni again!

the lovely lady has no job prospects and her unemployment claim was denied
http://www.forbes.com/sites/maureensullivan/2016/04/26/as-enrollment-drops-at-univ-of-missouri-professor-melissa-click-blames-racial-politics-for-firing/#54ad8c3b7f78
Last fall, campus protests roiled the University of Missouri in Columbia. In November, Professor Melissa Click put her hands on a student journalist trying to cover the protests and was fired. Not surprisingly, enrollment has plummeted at Mizzou as would-be students look elsewhere.
The university expects to come up $32 million short as enrollment for 2016-17 appears to be down about 1,500 students after a decade of what Mizzou calls “record enrollments.” Current undergraduate enrollment is 27, 812. The downsizing will mean a 5% budget cut and a hiring freeze. Four dorms will be closed.
In the meantime, Click, 44, has been going on the offensive. She hired a public relations firm and sat for an interview with the Chronicle of Higher Education. “This is all about racial politics,” she told writer Robin Wilson. “I’m a white lady. I’m an easy target.”
Melissa Click is seen during a run-in with student journalists during protests on the Columbia campus on Nov. 9, 2015. She was fired in February. (Mark Schierbecker via AP, File)
Thud. That was the sound of Click’s earlier apologies falling on the floor like an abandoned copy of a dissertation on Martha Stewart. While the story mentions her public and private apologies to Mark Schierbecker, the history major who recorded his threatening encounter with Click, she never backs away from her performance that day. A reminder: “Hey, who wants to help me get this reporter out of here,” she is heard yelling to a group of protesting students. “I need some muscle over here.”
Click, a communications professor then in the homestretch of earning tenure, wants to be portrayed as a protective mother hen to the black students protesting what they perceived as racism’s grip on the entire campus.

“I am a woman who made some mistakes trying to do what she thought was right,” she says.
Yes, indeed, she uses the “mistakes were made” defense. Further in the story she tells the reporter, “Black people love me.”
The university isn’t blaming its enrollment drop on Click. It notes that the baby bust of the late 1990s is cutting into college application numbers around the country. But the upheaval and bad publicity certainly didn’t help.
“While we do not think that the campus unrest was the only factor, we certainly believe that it was a factor in our decreased deposits,” interim Vice Provost for Enrollment Management Barbara Rupp told the school newspaper The Maneater. “This seems to be particularly true out-of-state, where many families were not able to come to campus, or return to campus, and relied only on what they were able to see in the media.”
Out-of-state students, who pay a $15,000 premium over in-state students, comprise nearly one-third of the total enrollment of 35,448.
In January, the Maneater reported that deposits from accepted students were down 23% over the previous year. Last month the university said it wouldn’t open two residence halls that were already scheduled for future demolition. This month, the university announced that two newer dorms, Respect and Excellence, would be shuttered due to lack of students.
Rupp told the Maneater that the budget cuts won’t impact recruiting efforts. “The hiring freeze and budget cuts have not affected recruitment,” she said, “as it is understood that recruitment efforts must continue.”
And the hiring freeze didn’t keep the admission department from hiring new representatives in Atlanta, Minneapolis, Los Angeles and Washington, D.C.
Click is experiencing her own hiring freeze and hasn’t gotten any leads on jobs. She told the Chronicle that her claim for unemployment was denied because the university fired her for cause. She has appealed that decision. She says she is also planning a lawsuit against Mizzou for denying her due process. The university has said that it moved against her when she was charged with assault against Schierbecker and accepted community service to make the complaint go away.
There is a GoFundMe campaign, Stand With Melissa, that has raised over $13,000 to go towards her legal bills.

Infamous former University of Missouri professor Melissa Click suggested in a newspaper profile published Sunday that she was fired because of her race.
“This is all about racial politics,” Click said in the Chronicle of Higher Education article. “I’m a white lady. I’m an easy target.”
Click was fired from her position as an assistant professor of communications in February, and her appeal of the decision was denied in March. She achieved national attention after video footage of her assaulting a student journalist went viral. Later, video emerged of her yelling profanities at a police officer.
“I’m a white lady. I’m an easy target.”
- Melissa Click
Her confrontation with a student journalist attempting to cover campus protests in November was caught on the journalist’s camera.
“I’m not a superhero,” Click told The Chronicle. “I wasn’t in charge. When it got out of control, I was the one held accountable.”
Her incident with police in October, during a protest at the university’s homecoming parade, was caught on an officer’s body camera.
“Am I going to be one of those people who stands and watches another brutal moment against black people, or am I going to step in and make sure they’re safe?” Click said she asked herself before stepping between the police officer and a protester.
“Black people love me,” she’s quoted as telling a reporter.
Click said the media treated her unfairly, and if she were to write a headline for her story it would have been “Favorite Professor Fights to Support Black Students on Campus in Dangerous Situation.”
“I believed at some point, somebody would care about the truth of what I was doing,” Click said. “I am a woman who made some mistakes trying to do what she thought was right.”

She has got a lot of key words jammed in there. Get the SJW talking points. She might be a bit behind the times though. I'm pretty sure her group is now saying they are not white. Trying to distance themselves from the B vs W clashes if they occour. I guess what ever serves the purpose at the time.

even higher than sham's numbers above. the price tag of aligning with the free shit chimps keeps on rising. and the forecast is tens of millions lost revenue in coming years too -

Enrollment at the University of Missouri is expected to decline by 2,600 students in the fall, aggravating a bad budget situation and making it likely the pain will extend for several years as the shrunken fall freshman class filters through to graduation.
The decline in tuition revenue is now estimated to be $36.3 million, up from about $20 million. The total shortfall is more than $46 million, up from $32 million when interim Chancellor Hank Foley ordered the 5 percent cut in February.
The shortfall will be mitigated by new state funding of about $9 million, Gibler said.
In February, Foley instituted a hiring freeze, tempered by allowances for needed personnel, and a freeze on salaries and wages. Foley’s directive was based on a $32 million shortfall from unavoidable new expenses and a decline in enrollment of about 1,500 students, including 900 first-time freshmen. It was intended to save $20 million, with the balance to come from reserves and cuts in later years if needed.
The latest enrollment figures point to a decline of 1,400 first-time freshmen, to about 4,800, and 1,200 other students,
The reduced incoming freshman class is likely to be the new normal condition for the campus, Gibler said.
“We will have several years in a row we have to do some reduction in our budget,” Gibler said. “It is impossible to predict how much we will rebound in the next fall. We can’t take this as a small bump in the road and that we will be back to business as usual.”

The shortfall will be mitigated by new state funding of about $9 million, Gibler said.
The plan seems to be to get more government money as enrollments fall. By the time they hit zero enrollments they should be back to full funding and everyone will be killing the pig.

Black student leaders at Mizzou threaten to burn down fraternity house in racial spat
Kayla Schierbecker - University of Missouri •September 30, 2016
Police officer: No ‘disparaging remarks’ came from Delta Upsilon
Members of the University of Missouri’s black student government called Delta Upsilon fraternity members “fucking crackers” and “fucking rednecks,” threatened to burn down the fraternity house and “set this school on fire,” and tried to instigate fights with them on Tuesday night, according to police statements.
The black students were allegedly provoked minutes earlier by a group of intoxicated women whom they accused of using a racial slur.
According to the police report obtained by the St. Louis Post Dispatch, with statements from four responding officers, defusing the situation required at least eight campus police officers.
The apparent scapegoat in the altercation, Delta Upsilon, was placed on “emergency suspension” by its national chapter Wednesday, hours before Mizzou also suspended the chapter.
In a statement distributed by the MU News Bureau on Wednesday, interim Chancellor Hank Foley said he was “outraged” to learn of the incident and said consequences could follow for those responsible.
Here are #Mizzou interim Chancellor Hank Foley's comments on the student gathering in the student center today & last night's incident: pic.twitter.com/2dFVDVnrNs
— Alec Lewis (@alec_lewis) September 28, 2016
“[I]f any student is found in violation of the Student Code and/or the University’s nondiscrimination policies, they will be subject to discipline, up to and including suspension and/or expulsion,” Foley wrote.
‘We’ll burn this motherfucker down’
Four women were walking home through campus shortly before midnight Tuesday when they allegedly upturned trash cans and tore down construction signs. (The police report redacts all names and largely avoids mentioning the race of participants, and an investigating officer found “no damage” to the cans.)
Two students leaving a Legion of Black Collegians meeting witnessed the visibly intoxicated women making the commotion.
According to the legion members, a white woman said: “Look how those niggers are looking at us.”
After flagging down a University of Missouri Police Department officer, the legion members pursued the women over three blocks, to the front of the Delta Upsilon house.
The first responding officer, Jacob Clifford, wrote in a report supplement that the legion women appeared “extremely upset.”

u of misery doubles down on 'diversity' after blm idiocy makes enrollment plunge 22 percent
http://www.kansascity.com/news/local/article140113798.html
.....freshman enrollment fell 22.9 percent.
In a move that could help boost enrollment, the University of Missouri System has joined The Common Application to help students apply to the university.
Called the “Common App,” the program makes it easier for graduating high school seniors to apply to hundreds of colleges and universities worldwide.
Making University of Missouri System campuses available through this services would make it easier for more students from around the world to seek applications. It could help boost declining enrollment seen since 2015.
“We are excited about the potential to increase the number, quality and diversity of our applicants and introduce prospective students to our excellent degree programs.”

Freshman enrollment at Mizzou to take a steep drop in August
May 6, 2017
The University of Missouri-Columbia is expecting at least a 14-percent decline in incoming freshmen this fall, resulting in its smallest class in nearly two decades.
Administrators project that about 4,000 freshmen will enroll in August. That’s down by about 700 students from 2016 and significantly lower than in 2015, when more than 6,000 enrolled.
The shrinking numbers have been tied at least partly to the protests on campus in 2015 that followed reports of racism on and near campus.
Last week, curators of the University of Missouri four-campus system were alerted to a $9 million expected decline in tuition revenue at Mizzou. At the time, enrollment estimates were not available.
The financial strain is on top of state budget reductions from Jefferson City.

http://www.abc17news.com/news/interim-chancellor-stokes-presents-current-financial-state-of-mu/500025261
COLUMBIA, Mo. - Interim Chancellor Garnett Stokes presented the current financial state of MU on Monday to university leaders, grad students and the public.
Two of the major topics that were discussed were state funding and enrollment. State funding is being cut by 24 million dollars and enrollment is down about 2,450 students. The enrollment decrease will cost the university 16.6 million dollars.
MU is also planning on cutting 350 to 400 jobs. Of those jobs, 175 to 200 open positions will be eliminated and 175 to 200 people will retire or not have their contracts renewed.

The average attendance at home football games was down 14,500 in 2016, making for some soft weekends in the hotel business, said Steve Bales, president of the Columbia Hospitality Association.
“It is going to be an impact for us hoteliers, who are obviously trying to make a living,” Bales said. “You have people who have made huge capital investments in the city of Columbia for this reason.”

UM still getting hammered by their get-whitey black lives matter crap
http://www.columbiatribune.com/news/20180305/enrollment-losses-state-cuts-put-mu-in-60-million-budget-hole
The University of Missouri faces a $60 million budget shortfall on the Columbia campus under a worst-case scenario for state support and enrollment, Chancellor Alexander Cartwright said Monday at a campus faculty meeting.
The meeting, called to discuss a report recommending MU close 27 graduate programs, also included discussion of the financial straits the university faces in the coming year. The university has already cut an undisclosed number of non-tenured faculty to save money in the coming year and cutting programs is an important part of balancing the budget to protect the rest of the institution, he said.
“Across the board cuts will not help this institution move forward,” Cartwright said. “What will happen is we will weaken already weakened infrastructure, and I hope this doesn’t happen but I could see us struggle for years to come.”
The special faculty meeting packed Jesse Wrench auditorium in Memorial Union and was called in response to a petition started by Stephen Karian, an associate professor of English.
In late January, MU released the report of the Task Force on Academic Program Analysis, Enhancement and Opportunities that recommended closing 27 graduate programs ranging from doctoral programs in Romance Languages to the doctoral program in chemical engineering. The report variously cited low numbers of applicants, graduates, academic output or grant production as the reasons for shuttering each program
If MU is forced to make cuts to balance the budget for the coming year, it will be the third year in a row that the budget will shrink. In March 2016, then-interim Chancellor Hank Foley directed the campus to cut 8 percent to prepare for lower enrollment and potential legislative cuts.
When Gov. Eric Greitens took office in January 2017, he ordered budget withholdings that reduced funding for the UM System by $31 million and withheld appropriations in June to reduce spending by an additional 9 percent in the current year. If lawmakers approve his current plan for another 10 percent cut to public colleges and universities, the MU campus will lose another $21 million, Cartwright said.
Another $30 million is because enrollment is expected to continue declining. This year’s incoming class was the smallest in 20 years and total enrollment is the lowest since 2008. The senior class, however, is the largest in school history. The university is expecting a small rebound in freshmen enrollment but it will not offset departing graduates and the loss of students who drop out after their first year on campus.
We have some tough decisions ahead of us, some very difficult decisions,” Cartwright said. “We have some budget planning that has to occur. We are going to have to be making those decisions in the next month or two months. This vote that you take today will have an impact on how we make those decisions, potentially.”

MU eliminates 185 jobs. The blame? Enrollment drop and state funding cuts
By Mará Rose Williams
June 07, 2018 02:38 PM
In an effort to manage a $49 million budget shortfall, the University of Missouri will eliminate 185 positions and lay off 30 staff members.
In addition, the university will reduce travel, eliminate some courses with low enrollment, cut down on sponsorships of some events and convert several printed products into online-only publications, said MU Chancellor Alexander N. Cartwright and Vice Chancellor for Finance Rhonda Gibler in an announcement made public Thursday.
