10 tons of 2 million ancient coins from Han Dynasty 2,200 years ago unearthed in China

Recently, Jiangxi New, archaeologists excavated a thousand years ago, so far the best preserved of the Western Han Dynasty tombs.

In the tomb, unearthed more than one thousand pieces of precious cultural relics, including more than 10 tons of the Western Han Dynasty coins (2 million coins, equivalent to the current 50 kilograms of gold), bells, bamboo, Kuregaku figurines ...

These artifacts show the high level of the Western Han Dynasty aristocratic life, it is of great archaeological value.

Amazing find, but with such a large cache uncovered, you have to wonder how much more went unreported, and directly into the pockets of the discoverers.
