Hit the link for the charts and other discussion, but here's the point:

... this means that as of today, the gold "coverage" ratio, or the amount of paper claims for every ounce of physical, has just hit a new all time high of 293 ounces of paper per ounce of registered physical.

Just how far can they push the paper markets? Eventually this has to break, does it not?

No clue.

It may go on forever.

It may end tomorrow.

Eventually yes. I believe they have been quite successful in the past with paper settlements for lack of delivery of physical and that can continue with increasing premiums for not taking delivery, vs other paper currencies USD is still strong, so a premium USD settlement is acceptable at this point. Premiums for physical coin isn't that high, yet, so for now they can continue the charades, with secret under the table paper settlements instead of physical delivery. However right now there are 293 paper holders for each chair of physical available, the music will stop playing, but when is the big question...

That report is from November. Try this @MktManipulation bombshell update on for size:

"BREAKING NEWS: COMEX REGISTERED GOLD PLUMMETS 73% IN ONE DAY!"

From what I've read, the figure may now stand around 550 to 1.

Thanks. LOL. No, not that. Took me a moment, but I've been around long enough to get it. :)

I figured you were representing a gold investment firm. We would certainly welcome your insights re gold, silver and other PM's, but remember that the moderator don't take too kindly if you promote your business heavily!

Once again welcome, we are a diverse bunch with unconventional views re many topics, as you may have noticed!

Thanks, no, I know you can't do that. I like real physical and PM IRA though. I also like stocks, but just took a big bath with Disney and am sitting on nice big paper loss I wish I had put in gold instead unfortunately. If anyone has been promoting a "home storage" or "home delivery" IRA you should also avoid like the plague and run for the hills because they are a big legal minefield ready to explode (the fine print they don't hype).

So, are you a neurologist or something, by the way? That would be interesting. I know someone out here who is a neurologist with the VA, or at least he was last time I spoke to him.

As far as my insights go (lol), avoid "junk," buy real physical, go with IRA approved best investment grade stuff. The best and most popular/liquid coin is probably the American Eagle, and bank safe deposit boxes can be great for direct personal purchases. I agree the Buffalos and Maple leafs may look beautiful enough to eat, however, especially the side with the buffalo. PM stored with an IRA custodian is insured and secured, however, so in that sense it can be even safer than holding it yourself, even if you have the most amazing hiding place in the world or access to the Batcave itself. As far as direct buy "gold you can hold" and custodian secured and insured PM, it doesn't have to be either/or, but can be both/and. (There is no charge for these insights, but I will gladly accept a tip in the form of a gold or silver American Eagle.) :)

That's intense. I was friends with a chiropractor for a while here but he left the field for financial reasons but was so skilled as a gardener he was able to go into that professionally for a very upscale place. I believe it had already been a sideline for him as well. Apparently some chiropractors can really get the shaft he indicated, while no doubt many others do well.

It no doubt can be a tough profession to make a living in. It took me about 8-9 years to start make a decent living after my 5 year education, and now I have been at it for 15 years. You usually work outside of government health systems and private insurance coverage, or within a limited insurance coverage which require you to sell your soul for a pittance. Media and medical profession frequently portray a negative impression of chiropractors and chiropractic and many buys that image.
