been watching another one of his shows. A full stand up show. He is like George Carlin but more more/stronger profanity. Still. he gets it.

you're making good progress then.

He has a foul mouth though so be warned if you go looking for some of his other stuff. One I watched was pushing the limits of what I'll listen to. He would still be a laugh with out so many F and C's.

Heavy metal musician turned comic. That story was funny.

I can accept foul language no problem, the slang is tough for me. The slang takes time for me to accentuate to in order to understand. I have a friend from Brikshire who I totally have to take an hour to understand a single sentence. Phone calls are tough and we both laugh at others issues. It is great fun none the less.

the fact you know to call it slang is a good start. The idioms of different countries can be confusing and funny at times. I have a lot of trouble with some English accents.

The other thing of course is that the Aussie and NZ accents are very nasally and sometimes hard to get. When in the US everyone I spoke to picked me as English despite the accent. In fact most people just looked blank when we said we were Aussies. It was Jim Carey-esque.

I am only talking about the USi. You go from any northern state and will be told you have an accent. Althougs you dont the other states dictate you do.

Seriously seriously LMAF.
