Not necessarily buying into this, however I'm convinced that this kid himself considers it VERY real (I find these sort of experiences extremely fascinating however I think one can 'color' one's own NDE vision via their own personal life experiences). There's certainly always the possibility he was possessed (and remains possessed) by dark forces.
