Interesting.... and it makes me very suspicious too.

If they make the right one, it wipes out good cells.

True, they would have to reprogram DRACOs to target normal cellular DNA then once found trigger the suicide switch.

I would think that the pharmaceutical companies would prevent it from ever hitting the market unless there was a bigger agenda like Spectrism says

Pharmaceutical companies are in business to make profits from others' ailments. They don't want cures unless they can profit from them. These medications can cure a disease but not reside permanently in the body. This would allow a repetitive sale for the next occurrence of the disease.

Imagine getting a dose that seems to attack neural cells, erasing recent memories. Or one that takes out white blood cells temporarily, making you susceptible to any disease for the next month.
