Burlington Police Chief Brandon del Pozo said a flier was left at a print shop, where investigators saw Schenk on surveillance video. He said Schenk's ex-girlfriend from Plattsburgh said she recognized Schenk from the surveillance video images and alerted police, telling officers she believed Schenk to be a known KKK member. Del Pozo said Schenk told investigators he was a recruiter for the KKK. He added the FBI knew of Schenk and his connections to the extremist group.

He has a right to pass out fliers just as I have a right to read them or crumple them up and throw them in a trash can. I'd be interested in hearing the specifics of his alleged targeting. It sounds a bit thin.

If this is in a federal district court he needs to talk to Dr. Trowbridge about Constitutional authority.
