Shami, absolutely. The telltale sign is volume. Humans can change the shape of their skull, but not the volume. Some reports I have read of these skulls the volume is double, and there are no suture lines in the back of the skull that are there for humans.

They appear to be a hybrid from the DNA samples I've seen. Half is human, the other half from an unknown origin.
